  1. When opening the link Kaspersky blocked the site. Please contact K-Lab Tech Support who will confirm or deny a False Positive. It doesn’t matter if it’s false positive or not - I want to know if it’s POSSIBLE to get infected by just searching it
  2. It is still very much related to this topic - I just want to know if it is dangerous, if you only search it? Because this one shows as “blocked” even though you didn’t even open it.
  3. I also found a site that does get “flagged” by just searching it - ihgip(dot)net. I’m convinced this doesn’t mean there was literal danger, but it’s just “prevention”. What do you think?
  4. Also , please see this pinned topic I wasn’t infected. The thing is, that I find it strange Kaspersky even blocks the sites without opening(clicking on image for example)
  5. Logically speaking it shouldn’t be dangerous, yet it gets “blocked”. That;’s why I ask because there shouldn’t be anything to block
  6. Yeah, going on that site could be unsafe, but just clicking on the image, it shouldn’t right?
  7. Thanks a lot, but I still need to know that one thing. I know it pop up shows saying it was blocked when I even just search it. I want to know if the searching itself is dangerous, since it popped up, or if it;’s just blocking before I can access it as a prevention.
  8. This is the site that got blocked. My question presists: Is it harmful to JUST search a dangerous site? And also is it dangerous JUST to click on(without opening the site) image in Google Images?
  9. Is this supposed to be like it? First of all I want to assure you I do not have any active malware that would try to open anything - you can test it out yourself. I for exampe just search a dangerous site and Kaspersky instantly blocks it without opening. Does it mean something tried to load, or is it just some sort of “prevention”? Because if something did try to load, I find it strange, since I didnt open anything. This happens in google search. I also recently used Google Images and found it strange that the same sort of warning came out(about phising) when clicking on(increasing size) image, but without going on the site. So the question presits, am I in danger if I even search a dangerous site or when I focus(by clicking) a google image?
  10. Id still like to hear na answer from community
  11. That’s not what I asked for. I want to know whether USING A PASSWORD PROTECTED WIFI is safe. Like if the WIFI uses some sort of Encryption or just password overall. I heard the only case in which you are really unsafe is if the WIFI doesn;t use PASSWORD at all. If it does you should be OK(unless the attacker REALLY tries to hack you specifically). So is it true? Am I safe if I just use WIFI with a password? Also can auto-login be dangerous to use?
  12. Hello, the question is in the title. Is it dangerous to join public PASSWORD protected Wifi? Or am I compeltely safe if I use it? Thanks
  13. Ive read that, but Its too vague. Just a Simple yes or no Is enough. So i repeat: So just entering a site with invalid SSL cert Is fine(if i didnt enter any data)?
  14. So just entering a site with invalid SSL cert Is fine(if i didnt enter any data)?
  15. I havent done anything on the site except leaving IT(didnt enter any data). The ONLY thing Kaspersky Saíd was that the site had invalid SSL cert. So from my understanding, it should be fine if I didnt send any data and deleted cookies And stuff(I also had the Kaspersky Tracker blocker activated). Also the site was then marked with the Green SHIELD when i searched IT in Google And Virustotal had no detections either. I really do Hope thats all I can do to stop a possible(unlikely) Attack(the site was a local internet provider site that probably had expired cert, but im not sure). So should I be still fine? What could possibly happen on a invalid SSL cert site? Thanks
  16. I have immediately deleted the browser data(history>delete browsing data>Advanced>DELETE), so does it mean I’m 100% safe? Couldn’t anyone use just the connection to the site to hack me? I ignored the warning, because I thought that I would be unsafe only if I would enter data(that’s why I’m asking). So yeah, am I completely safe now after I deleted browser data?
  17. Hello, I’ve been to a site that Kaspersky warned me about not having valid SSL cert. I still went to that site, but right after that left it. I didn’t log in or send any information there, just left it without doing anything. Am I safe?
  18. So if I would have a program running, that has malicious files inside it's data folder, but those malicious files wouldn;'t be itself able to "escape" the program and cause any harm, would it still be detected by Quick scan? Because I had this game(Garry's mod) running and probably in one of the encypted(non-executable) files was some kind of adware or something that was detected by Kaspersky after that by using Quick scan. After deleting the game with all it's files the detection stopped. The weird thing is, that Kaspersky didn't have anything in the "Reports" or "Quarantine" and also full scans that happened like minutes before starting the game found nothing.
  19. FLOOD Yes there is. It says so in the scan, but it doesn't show any specifics(nothing in "neutralized" tab or quarantine), it doesn't even say what kind of threat it is or where it is. Also it appeared like 3times already(even though I had many full scans before - even a 5 minute ago). I'm pretty sure it's some kind of glitch
  20. Hello Rimanah, Welcome! Go to KIS application, select MORE TOOLS, in TOOLS window, select REPORTS, select DETAILED REPORTS, search for the detections, select the CATEGORY the events are in (not ALL EVENTS) select 24 hrs or 7 days, export the report as a.txt file, please upload using the "upload icon", in your reply? Thanks. That's the thing, I cannot. There's nothing in the reports or Quarantine. Just this:
