Hello RightProgress, Thanks for posting again. I'm not sure what "ust" help means, but, the images I need are ALL KSC/VPN settings/config screens please. You're more than welcome to post them here. Than you again:pray_tone3:

Hi Thanks for getting back to me. The error message in the bottom right hand screen is the only error message I was getting. I am not sure what you mean by "Kaspersky Secure Connection application, capture images of ALL screens, censor any defined network names and post back please" I don't know how to do this, the only other screen is this, server location blanked out for security reasons.
Hello RightProgress, Thank you for posting again. The popup/notification, "connection to insecure nw", Ye[p, that's ok, I know. ---- Go to KSC/VPN application, select 3 horizontal bars = Settings screen print every screen after opening KSC/VPN Settings, when you've collected each screen, save them to a folder, zip the folder, upload folder to any cloud storage of your choice, pm link to me please? Thank you:pray_tone3: -
Hello, hope you enjoyed your lunch, sorry this reply is late, The problem did not come up yesterday but it came up today. I appreciate all the screenshots you gave me. I am the only user and worried that my network is public. When I tried to follow the steps Windows, Settings, Control Panel, Network & Sharing Centre,This is the screenshot I get. I blacked out the name and ref number of my ISP as I don't know if it I am supposed to keep it private.I didn't quite understand what you meant by " View your active networks, click or double click (your device) "network", "so I clicked my private network I clicked the ISP name and reference number and got the following screenshot, and this is where I got stuck I don't want to treat all future networks as public and I am really confused. While I appreciate your help, your screen isnt like mine. There are no check boxes as described in your descriptive post. I rang Kaspersky and they told me to ring my ISP who cannot help, so I am stuck. Thanks Win8, kaspersky secure connection (PREMIUM). i turned off KSC/VPN, when I turned it back on, popup notification "network x is insecure".
Hello RightProgress, Thank you for posting back:pray_tone3: Absolute bottom line, your network isn't "public", please don't panic or be stressed.- The "alert" is a poorly worded, misleading and confusing to many.

Win8, kaspersky secure connection (PREMIUM). i turned off KSC/VPN, when I turned it back on, popup notification "network x is insecure".
Hello RightProgress, Welcome! Thank you for posting, the detailed information, defining the issue and the images:clap_tone3:, also, two is better than none:ok_hand_tone3::relaxed: I tried to reply last night, however, I kept falling over my words, it's sort of difficult to describe, bc, there's potentially, different reasons for the notification. & my "fake" Win8 console kept crashing, making it impossible for me to create/document everything as a Win8 user would see this, so, I've created an image libray to step you thru some checks. Your Win 8 may have screens slightly different, but, I think you'll be able to follow the guide:- (1)

Hi, I have the paid for version of kaspersky secure connection, and turned off my VPN and when I turned it back on it said in the bottom right screen that my network is insecure. I run winows 8.1 and I am the only user. For further information, please see screenshot. I blacked out the name of my isp but it is a reputable well used safe one, why is kaspersky saying it is insecure? Sorry I put the same screenshot in twice by mistake. All help appreciated thanks.

Hi and thank you both for your help. I also rang kaspersky and did getsysteminfo and they found some old incompatible macaffee software on here which has now gone.

Hi thanks for your reply I checked other settings and "Detect other software" was already enabled. I have done a database update. As I did a full scan yesterday which revealed nothing, do I just need to do a quick scan today before following the other steps on your post or do i need to do another full scan?

Hi I was browsing the web this evening and my paid for kaspersky total security flagged up a problem. It turned on advanced disinfection but could not get rid of (I think) one trojan. There were three. I'm not tech savvy, so I have put four screenshots below to show you what has happened. A minute into the scan it said it couldnt get rid of one of them, hope the screenshots help. Please can you give me an idiots guide on what to do? I know there is an advanced disinfection tool but I don't know where it is, as it came up automatically. Anyway, thanks for your help, here are the screenshots. I am leaving it on full scan overnight, but have not been able to re-disinfect with not being able to find the disinfector. A troubleshooter thing came up also, identifying a problem in my D drive, the disk. I let it fix it and rebooted. Thanks in advance
Kaspersky secure connection saying my internet connection is insecure.
