Hi, maybe there is some registry about the old network agent. Try checking the regedit end delete them.
See
HKLM\Software\KasperskyLab\,HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\KasperskyLab\Components\34\,HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\if a NetwotkAgent item exists, delete it.then press F3 and type “Kaspersky”, looking for Kaspersky Network agent registry only, and delete them.
Use CMD and type “WMIC” enter, “product get name” press enter, it will show you a list about all program installed in your computer, check if Kaspersky Network agent is one of them.
You can try to uninstall it with: product where name=”product name in the list” call uninstall
or maybe the network agent service still exists in the system, open CMD as administrator and run “SC delete klnagent”
let me know about it.
Thanks for the suggestion.I checked wmic and software is not listed, tried the other suggestions and no entries exist. Software is removed.
I have searched the registry and remove all instances of “kaspersky” apart from some named firewall rules and this entry for Network Access Protection Agent.
NAP Service is stopped and I disabled the service and ran installer once more.
Same issues persists

@alexcad
Is there anything further we can do to resolve this?
Or should I create a support ticket? -
I have attached the result of the cleaner actions in case this indicates why the installer fails.
From what I can see in these logs all traces of previous installations have been removed. -
Maybe this helps:
Tool for removing information about installation of Kaspersky Security Center Network Agent
https://support.kaspersky.com/13088Tool for removing data concerning installation of Kaspersky Security Center
https://support.kaspersky.com/15279Regards
AlexThanks for the reply.
Is a reboot required after performing the steps on those pages?
I have run both sets of commands for both different cleaners. On two different servers. Both have the same issue.
Network agent still fails to install.
These are live servers so I have not rebooted yet.
Log file from one of the servers attached. -
Found a thread which indicated to run the installer via command line with logging enabled.
Here is the resulting log file. -
In all my branch servers I had the full Admin Server installation and reporting back to head office Admin Server as slave servers.
I have uninstalled the branch admin server console and removed the KES FSEE 8.0 installation too. I need to install network agent to report back to main Admin Server. Net Agent fails no matter how I install it.
I have used KAVRemover to attempt to remove all traces of previous installs. This didn’t make a difference.
The net agent fails with an entry in Application Event Viewer - error:
“Windows Installer installed the product. Product Name: Kaspersky Security Center 11 Network Agent. Product Version: 11.0.0.1131. Product Language: 1033. Manufacturer: AO Kaspersky Lab. Installation success or error status: 1603.”
1603 can mean access denied. Permission are correct and user account is a domain admin. Permission is not the issue.
What else can I try to get Net Agent installed? -
Then check the network parameters KSC 11 is using to interact with KSN Services: https://support.kaspersky.co.uk/15052
Thanks for this link. I made some changes to our Watchguard rules. I added exceptions for HTTPS proxy and Web Blocker rules. Connection to KSN is allowed from endpoint and KSC once more. Thanks. -
I upgraded from KSC 10.5 to KSC11 last week. Previously KSN was working OK. I have a list of IP addresses to allow through coporate firewall. Going into KSC> KSN Proxy statistics>Check KSN connection receive error "Connection to KSN has been terminated" I can see in firewall logs that connection is allowed through the permitted rule - connection to 81.19.104.93 & 81.19.104.45 allowed. What should I be doing to allow KSN participation?

Uninstalled Admin Server - now network agent fails to install

I have got this issue resolved now.
I created a ticket via Company Portal.
The support rep worked through a few things and ended up providing me with a patched Net Agent installer specifically for Domain Controllers.
This has installed sucessfully and servers reporting back to main Admin Centre server.
