    Kaspersky Kids do not longer limit my sons PCs (Windows 10)

    Hi there,

    the Kaspersky Kids didn´t limit the pc (windows10) of my son anymore (Since a few days , 18.02.2021).
    When he starts the pc say´s  “No Limit today”. I uninstall KSK und reinstall it, but today it´s the same.
    That´s a huge problem, who need to be solved soon. The only reason is the limiting. If that doesn´t work, KSK is useless for me.

    After I restart the computer the limit is set…...but that´s much to late, when my son already been 3 hours on the pc (normaly 45 minutes).

    have you had it fixed, because i have similar problem. My kid can pause KSK time limit countdown on Win10 Pro. Is it on laptop? I think he does it by opening and closing the laptop screen several times.

    1. KSK is paused, its not counting down time;  i can see paused icon.
    2. will check that next time

    We’ve copied relevant information (you added) in @Chuc.Cao’s topic, to this topic; please keep posting about “Safekids on laptop can be disabled easily”, in this topic only. 

    1. What OS version & build is the laptop, in Windows Search🔎 field, type   winver   → press enter, a popup will show the required information?
    2. “Paused, not counting down time” is different to disabled, when the issue happens, check Taskmanager, take a full-screen screenprint of the processes & post back please? 
    3. When KSK is paused & you see a “paused” icon, take a full-screen screenprint of the paused icon & post back please? 
    4. There’s a known issue with Windows Sleepmode, supposed to be fixed on or after 25/03/2021; stop using Sleepmode & recheck: is KSK counting time accurate? 
    5. How often is the laptop shutdown, using Shutdown, not Restart?

    My Kid disabled Kasperky safe kid

    I have 2 kids: Boy 13 years old, Girl 9. The boy is very good at computer (and coding) and recently he adjusted something in his Laptop and make Kaspersky Safe Kid (KSK) stopped functioning. I asked what did he do, he said he did nothing but I’m sure he tried to hack this (he tried to hack many other things).

    When I restart his computer then KSK works normally, but later then it stops (several times already). My daughter Laptop has no problem with KSK. Both laptops are new and installed with Window 10

    I have the same issue, my boy could “disable” safekids, but what i have found out, it only works on laptop. What he did was, he would close and open the laptop screen, sometimes several times and safekids will stop the countdown or it will say paused. I had to log off his account and log back in to enable safekids, but he only has to do it again.

    1. Are the children actually disabling KSK or is it that KSK is not monitoring & reporting correctly? 
    2. Which KSK version & patch(x) is installed → on the Windows taskbar or hidden icons, rightclick the Kaspersky icon, select About? 
    3. Is Windows Sleep mode used?

    KSK will just paused, i can see paused icon. I saw him opening and closing laptop screen several times. I think it has to do with that. Safekids version 1.0.5.7353(h) and there is windows sleep mode option.
