  1. Hello, How are you installing the new version 11.2? Are you deploying it through task by approving the KES 11.2 update or remotely installing it via install application remotely from remote package?

  3. Hey, You can deploy network agents from Security center by using Administrator account you are using in your enterprise. Just define the account credential that has the proper administrative permission to install apps.
  4. Hello Telmo, Plugins for server are different from client. You need to install plugin for KES for server 10.
  5. Hey Shami, I suspect windows smart screen and windows store culprit here. But still try below steps. Try deploying it or install from the packages folder in the KLShare. Try turning OFF windows smart screen for windows apps. Update your windows store. Did you try running the installer on different device?

  7. Since, you have mentioned that you have added that USB device to trusted, and other USB devices are blocked, is that correct? If that’s the case then the Pop up warning is normal for the first time and consecutive plunging and unplugging will not trigger the pop up message during a device running session.

  10. You mention KES10 on your first thread and KAV2020 later. Both are different products. Anyways, you can take ownership of the folders that you want to delete from windows NTFS file permissions by going to security tab on folder properties.
  11. It is related to your incomplete installation of windows and KES10. Best practice is that if you are planning to install two different AV product, then remove it completely with an uninstaller tool that cleans it from system areas before installing new one. And since you’ve also mentioned that two different windows directory were used on two different products, authorizing issue have arised.

  13. Hey Bob, it is perfectly fine to uncheck encrypted connection if you have large number of websites to deal with. However, if in your case if you want to exclude few IPs’ you can do that in same window by selecting allow in advance setting of Encryption connection scan.

  15. Hello TalhaBashir, Can you repair your Database server or do you have any previous backup of that server from where you can restore. Can you also give a overview of KSC installation as where is DB server installed or in the same server where KSC is?
  16. Hello Francesco, Like you I’m also curious to know the way. In the mean while, you can also check Application registry in Application Management node where you can find the devices on which it is install under properties tab. Export the devices to Excel. That is a bit of clicks, but till now I perform application inventory this way. I wish there is some other way round but I don’t know.

  18. Hey, What does the Kaspersky event says about the error when you try to open it. Try checking the events in local device or KSC. I suspect Host Intrusion Protection is triggered, if that is the case then add that program as trusted in HIP option in the policy.
  19. Don’t worry about the protection, unchecking this option doesn’t makes you vulnerable. Also, scanning encrypted connection is little bit resource intensive and may make your web experience slow on legacy hardware.

  24. Hey, Are you using the correct wildcard (*) to block youtube browsing, like *.youtube.com/*. Also you can try the inbuilt KL category of application in web control to block certain websites as shown below. I hope this helps!
