  1. Hi

I get the issue where devices get moved to unassigned devices that were managed devices but i cannot figure out how?

Is there a time limit to how long a device can go without connecting to the server then it gets moved back to unassigned??  Its a really weird issue.

    Thank you for your help!

Yes, right click managed device node and select properties. Then select device section. You can find the time there.

  2. Can someone help me about the problems? i cant update database via KSC. i have cleared the repository, but the problems still

So, even after doing the above mentioned steps, this same error is coming.

Do you have a proxy server enabled? Have you upgraded the KSC? What was the last time it was working fine and started showing errors.

You can check service account with with the task is running or can restart it if it’s possible.

  3. i tried many times to recreate update task, but still doesn”t work. anyone can tell me about this problems?

Share the Download updates to Administration server repository task log or screenshot after you have cleared the repository and re-run that task.

Make sure you have no firewall rule to block any connection to KLab online.

  4. Thank you, do I need to select anything diferent than what I do for the offline network  ? I have created an offline setup exe with endpoint security and network agent. Will the same setup.exe work or will I need to do something diffent?

    No Elma,

You don’t have to do anything else if you’ve provided proper connection parameters for network agent package like Security center IP address, ports etc.

  5. Hello Awaiz,

You can accomplish this task in two ways,

First, application wide, you can create a category of application that will be prohibited from running. For example utorrent.exe or alike. You can add any applications that you want to block.

Second, You can use Kaspersky built in categories to block torrenting.

    Go to Advanced<<Application management<<Application category.

Select New Category « Select Category with content added manually« proceed with the wizard.
