  1. The issue began when I first installed Chrome 08/2021. Kaspersky was already on the computer and Chrome started out as being managed. I need to install Kaspersky on my new computer, but want to do it differently if other people have notice that Kaspersky is "managing" Chrome. No virus noted, I have been through all the articles you kindly listed plus many more. Chrome support suggested that my antivirus software might have taken over as manager, but could not suggest how to change the situation. I did not want to involve a support case until or unless others told me it had been a problem for them also. Since I have received no other replies, I am thinking it must be something else.
  2. Windows 10 Pro 21H2 19044.2251 Total Security 21.3 I have had to install Chrome to use some government apps. Ever since I installed it, there are certain setting changes I can not make because the is a banner that says: Your browser is managed by your organization I have spent many hours trying to get rid of this. chrome://policy/ does not show anything related. The Chrome tech support people deny knowing why it says this - say that security software could cause this problem by assuming management of Chrome to keep things safe. Can anyone give me any ideas to check or does anyone know if Kaspersky could be causing this managed browser setting. No other browser has shown this, but I am about at the end of what to check. I am getting ready to setup Kaspersky and Chrome on a new Windows 11 computer and would really like to know if this could be the problem. Thanks for for any ideas.
