Hello, thank you for your feedback and the new update of KVRT! I tested it on Windows Server Core and the graphic mode does work now, great. Command line info is improved, but there should be some scan progress display in percent and current scan status with file info. Digital certificate signing problem is fixed, good. But there is still one problem with the command line help window, not all information is visible, the help description is still broken / cut off. command line help text is cut off And now there is another problem with the System analyzer, because of the lack of the explorer.exe I think you get an error to open the location of the results files. System analysis can’t open folder with result files

Here is another problem I found with KVRT and the qt5core.dll file. The digital signatures are all invalid. Please check it and fix this problem, as someone could think they are tampered with. qt5core.dll Digital Signature oneqt5core.dll Digital Signature two qt5core.dll Digital signature three

In my opinion remote scanning is not good as scanning directly on the system. You can also use the command line locally . Use “cmd /C kvrt.exe -accepteula -silent”. It’s work on Windows Server Core. Yes that works, but could be improved a bit. The output and error handling. Please see the screenshot. Please do not forget to fix the output of the command line help, too. See the screenshot in my last post.

Thank you for your fast answer. To be more specific the GUI of KVRT 2020 do not work in Windows Server core, only the unpacking window pops up and after that nothing. KVRT 2020 unpacking in Windows Server 2016 core The Microsoft Safety Scanner (MSERT) does work in GUI mode in Windows Server core. Hi, unfortunately it seems that the Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool 2020 does not work in Windows Server 2016 Core Edition? Other tools like MSERT do run and work in Windows Server Core. Is this a bug or isn’t designed to run on Windows Server Core? There is no info about Windows Server Core in the system requirements! Thanks. Kind regards from Germany and keep healthy, Patrick
