Pô eu preciso de um esclarecimento. De uns meses para cá o KIS 20.0 usava 2.48 gb de uso parado e agora tem ficado no dos 2.74 gb ou mais. O AVP.exe e AVPUI.exe tem usado mais de 260-400 mb além do defeito desconhecido durante um boot do windows, quando faço o login do usuário como foi descrevido acima.

Desde maio deste ano ano percebendo que o Kaspersky Internet Security 20.0 está usando mais memória ram e já vem acontecido de forma indeterminada quando inicio o computador, faço o login no usuário do windows 7 que nada responde, nem o gerenciador de tarefas, desligar o windows e nem a barra de tarefas carrega os ícones dos programas incluíndo o próprio KIS. E acaba forçando a ter de reiniciar o PC para que conserte tal defeito desconhecido.
Pois bem isso já aconteceu três vezes este ano, como nesta noite e eu estou suspeitando de que alguma atualização indevida possa estar causando tal defeito ou pode ser que a opção de iniciar o windows com equilibrio de proteção nas configurações de desempenho possa estar defeituoso.
O que eu devo fazer para relatar tal problema ou se estes sintomas possam já estarem acontecendo algum tempo e aonde eu posso participar da conversa para me sintonizar sobre um avanço de soluções para tal problema.

Too bad that thread is really old and didn’t much clarified on what I’m having trouble. I will try to clean my hard drivers and maybe get resolved. It will take a while.

The first response, they have presumed the changes ‘’could be’’ related to an expansion to %temp% folder but I have checked and only contain 2.776 files which would not add a million more along everything else stored on both hard drives.
Very upset with their letter and this community for not acknowledging what I am going through and how annoying this can be.

I already have done this procedure but since I didn’t know what tags should I place along this thread I still got my question about if there have been some update in the past 10 days would change the program to scan more files if the space on all hard drivers are still the same.
I have 230 gb on main HD and on the second 48,3 gb. Before May 2th full scan used to count around 982.823 files and in the past 4 days the weekly full scan I do did count 2.135.059.
What have changed in the program to execute such extension in the scan if my PC did not change amount of the space being storaged nor if I haven’t altered the advanced configurations on where to search, scan. By my counts it seems like full scan is doing three times the verification instead one to give such result on that amount of files in the report.

Since May 2th I have noticed full scan I do every week as precaution that, at the report data and during the scan, the full scan is showing more files detected than it was compare to a week before.
I don’t know what behavior caused this because both of HDs are keeping the same storage as before and nothing would explain why Kaspersky Internet Security 20.0.14.1085(j) all the sudden changed the behavior?
I am aware there are advanced configurations under this full scan and I always have been using the same settings so doesn’t make unless on the latest 10 days KIS have received some update that changed this behavior.
I just want to know what is happening.

I have turned on my PC today at 15:42 pm and only now rootkit scan have initialized. I don’t know who told the scan would start within 30 minutes after the PC is turned on because in my situation for today. The scan started at 16:55 pm so that ain’t 30 minutes so it is way more what one of the moderators in this topic told would be. Seems to be working as should but I going to keep underwatch...I mean tracking these logs because I don’t know what is happening and if this could be one of the symptoms for having the license be at the edge of the expiration. I’m still waiting to receive the new license.
But at least I didn’t had to uninstall my protection.

I’m using KIS and is about to expire so if I need to reinstall I will prefer to do that when I receive the new license code. Otherwise I don’t understand the relevance to uninstall my protection making me unsafe. And if the rootkit scan was working like always before yesterday (04/15) is more likely some of these automatic updates messed with my KIS.
I make use of my PC daily and I always make sure to see and keep logged the data of those scans daily so I can keep tracked when I can get the next day rootkit scan without having to bother during my playtime which used to happen most of the times back in KIS 2018.
Somehow since the change from Kaspersky Internet Security 19.0 to KIS 20.0, the rootkit schedule kept functioning in my way and yesterday when I left idleing and turned on, the desktop PC with monitor turned off I thought the rootkit scan would occurr but did not and I have tried to boot and hoping to start a new scan but did not happen.
The application setting to perform these rootkit san were never touched and for reasons of making me uncomfortable by yesterday I have unchecked and checked, waited for severeal minutes to see if would start a new scan but no effect was done.
I use my KIS protection in Portuguese and following this example: Perfomance settings
I couldn’t stop noticing I don’t have the option to proceed rootkit scans while Idleing and I have been thinking that the routine to start rootkit scan I have been using sometimes my desktop PC idle for an hour at least and the rootkit scan would start normally but all the sudden yesterday did not.
I use Kaspersky Internet Security 20.0.14.1085(i) automatic and updated version and I dont know for no reason and for the first time, I find odd rootkit scan would not follow schedule it does everyday respecting the end of time it does to the day before and begin the next day following the last time did finish the scan. It has been doing this way since KIS 19.0.

Hi, today I’m facing an unsual symptom and my daily rootkit scan did not start all today. Even booting my PC and waiting 40 minutes or more didn’t start today. Seems like some change on update from April 14 21:20 messed with my schedule.

Hi, sorry for my instrusion but lately since I can remember but since May 2020 my Kaspersky Internet Security 20.0 of 64 bits have been consuming memory very much lately and nowadays are using 200 mb even more. On total along main resources and svchost.exe process I’m running everyday 3.09 gb to 3.40 gb just to idle and have the program in the background doing nothing.
Both of avpui.exe and avp.exe together have been consuming more than 500 to 600 mb.
I’ve tried and ran the procedure to defrag, search for errors in the disk, used CCleaner and made a scan to clean some directories and yet nothing so far linked could be a hardware problem to my end. And now I have quickly searched for this and I am curious if all of Kaspersky applications are in common getting the same issue on memory usage being to high in the past 5 months.
