  1. For all colleagues who are having problems with the extension.

    1- Uninstall the extension

2- Close the browser and open it again

    3- Install the extension again

4- click on the extension and activate if necessary, by default it will already be active

    Hello,

same issue here with Kaspersky Premium. It's been the case for some weeks, I had not noticed this annoying behaviour of the application before.

@JPJ71 I have tried the process you mentioned, but to no avail. The app keeps opening up every time I start a session.

The support only told me it was impossible to change, and that I could close the window - of course, I can! How user-friendly it is!...

I don't understand what Kaspersky looked for when they built in this set-up without allowing us to disable it. It is absolutely unnecessary and nerve-racking to have this systematic pop-up every time we start a session. Do they really fear we forget we installed their software?... Everything can be customized but this, and they give us advice to prevent others' app pop-ups, but theirs can't be avoided. Unbelievable.

    SOLUTION:

1- Format your computer (do a clean install, don't save anything)

2 - After formatting your computer, go to windows update and update your computer. Restart the computer.

3 - As soon as the computer is fully updated, download kasperky standard/plus/premium through the my kaspersky portal (website) and install it on your computer

I had the same problem and this was the only solution.

    Hi!
Alright, so a day or two ago (my memory is typically pretty bad, hence why I can't be specific), windows edge (the web browser) started telling me I'm not connected to the internet. I use 3 different browsers for different purposes, but so it was pretty troubling when windows edge as a whole started telling me that while other browsers worked fine.
But the problems didn't stop there, so then windows update started telling me that it can't connect to the update service, like I wasn't connected to the internet.
And then the adobe creative cloud couldn't connect either.
    And then discord couldn't.

I tried various things, even tried just simply waiting for it to solve itself in case it was something temporary with the ISP or something (although they didn't have any message up on their... Not sure how to translate it, but "driftinformation page"?) and nothing worked, the problem would just persist.

Reason it took me this long to reach the conclusion that the kaspersky total security is causing it, is because I first tried pausing it and it didn't do anything, so I figured that was that. But just now I tried to turn it off entirely, and that did the trick.
And then when turning total security back on, it goes back to the errors for those connections.

My connection itself isn't the problem, monitoring it with pingplotter, and browsers like firefox still works just fine, and other apps that requires a connection works just fine as well.

So therefore, something has occurred that made total security block these connections.

What can I do to fix this problem, or do I have to turn off kaspersky every time I need to do something with those specific apps and functions?

Oh, and for the record, I've got a wired connection, not using wifi and other computers in the apartment works fine with everything (don't have kaspersky on those).

    Go to:

settings --> manage settings --> Restore

    will probably fix the problem

Checked Windows Features (Control Panel > Programs & Features > Turn Windows Features On or Off), Hyper-V was not checked.  As suggested I changed “turn on virtualization based security” from “not configured” to “disabled”.  Checked HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\DeviceGuard and HKLM\System\Control\LSA after making the local polity change, EnableVirtualizationBasedSecurity and LsaCfgFlags were both set to 0.  When I ran bcedit /enum I did not see an entry for hypervisorlaunchtype.  Am I missing something?  Should I go ahead and run bcdedit / set hypervisorlauch off anyway?  The OS here is Windows 10 Pro.

  5. bcdedit /enum and bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype  my bad, I fixed

    windows 10/11 pro

    Steps:
    turn off hyper-v
go to "turn windows features on or off"
make sure hyper-v is not ticked.
if it is ticked, untick it and click "ok".

open command prompt window as an administrator
    run: bcdedit /enum {current}
note down the hypervisorlaunchtype in case this needs to be reverted
    run: bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off
to disable hypervisor close the command prompt after executing the commands and restart the system

    edit group policy (gpedit)
go to local computer policy > computer configuration > administrative templates > system
double click on device guard on the right hand side to open.
double click on turn on virtualization security to open a new window
it would be "not configured", select "disable" and click ok
    close the group policy editor
    restart the system

    windows 10/11 home

    steps:
    turn off hyper-v
go to "turn windows features on or off"
make sure hyper-v is not ticked.
if it is ticked, untick it and click "ok".

    open registry editor
    go to HKEY_LOCALMACHINE > SYSTEM > CurrentControlSet > Control > DeviceGuard
on the right-hand side, wtrite a new key
       a. right click > new > DWORD (32 bit) value
       b. name this value: EnableVirtualizationBasedSecurity
by default, it should be 0, double click, and confirm the value

    go to HKEY_LOCALMACHINE > SYSTEM > CurrentControlSet > Control > Lsa
on the right-hand side, wtrite a new key
       a. right click > new > DWORD (32 bit) value
       b. name this value: LsaCfgFlags
by default, it should be 0, double click, and confirm the value
    close the registry editor
    restart the system

  6. I will teach the method for anyone who has the following virtualization error message in kaspersky: "Hardware virtualization is not available; Incompatible hardware or software detected"

do it at your own risk

    METHOD:

    windows 10/11 pro

    Steps:
    turn off hyper-v
go to "turn windows features on or off"
make sure hyper-v is not ticked.

I tried the sequence we discussed earlier – turn off hardware virtualization in Kaspersky > turn on Core Isolation Memory Integrity > reboot > turn off Core Isolation Memory Integrity > reboot > turn on hardware virtualization in Kaspersky.  No change, I still see the same message in Kaspersky about the OS not being stable when using hardware virtualization

in your case I believe you just need to disable the option "use the advanced features of hardware virtualization". I believe it will solve the problem

Maybe your pc doesn't have these "advanced features", for example my pc doesn't even give me this option in kaspersky, only the option "use the hardware virtualization if available"

    Greetings,

I am having a problem similar to what Veerain described in Kaspersky Hardware virtualization error from back in May.

    1)      Which Windows OS version & build?

    a)      Windows 10 version 22H2, build 19045.2251

    2)      Have all Windows updates & patches been applied successfully?

    a)      Yes, including KB5019959 released on 11/8/2022.

    3)      Which KIS version & patch(x), x=letter, is installed, on the Windows taskbar, or hidden icons, rightclick the Kaspersky icon, select About?

    a)      21.3.10.391 (j)

As far as I am able to determine all of the UEFI settings for virtualization are correct, the processor (an Intel Core i7-8700K) supports virtualization, Core Isolation and Device Guard are off, Hyper-V was never installed, and I have even uninstalled VMWare Workstation Player.  I have had a couple of power outages recently, however, I do not think that would have any impact on this.  I am hoping someone can provide guidance from here.

    Regards,

    Matt Routt

    Screenshot 2022-12-01 105052.png

    1- open windows security

    2- click on device security

    3- click on core isolation

    4- disable memory integrity

    5- reboot system

6- now hardware virtualization in kaspersky will work.

    Hey,

I have a question, i'm using Kaspersky Standard on a Windows 10 PC with two users.

I am administrator and the other is a normal user, when the normal user is loged in Kaspersky doesn't update teh databases.....

So when i log in after a few days(not using pc daily) windows security and Kaspersky gives me a warning that there wasn't an update for a long time.....

Why doesn't Kaspersky update his database on a non administrator windows user?

    Thanks for your answers,

    Sven

first step: ask your friend to uninstall (don't save any settings) and then reinstall kaspersky

Second step: log into your my kaspersky account. Click in your email in the upper right, then account settings.

third step: in the account settings click on activation code and in the space for the email (it will already be filled in) send the code to yourself.

fourth step: send the kaspesrky standard activation code to your friend and ask him to activate the product using the code instead of his email. (image 3)

    Problem Solved!

The problem that my machine says I have virtualization enabled on my computer. the image below informs:

What to do to fix this error that is appearing in Kaspersky? ?

Unfortunately Kaspersky will lose me as a customer. In Brazil we had the possibility of manual renewal, an option I always use, but these new products lineup only allow automatic renewal and I've had problems with this payment method.

The big problem with kaspersky is that kaspersky does not charge the credit card, but nexway manages the payment method, and this has given me a lot of problems in the automatic renewal.

I hope they make manual renewal available for these new products in the future for Brazil.
