  1. How does one do a database update for Kaspersky secure connection? I can’t see any update button in the program itself. Previously I uninstalled the old version then reinstalled using the newer version.
  2. KTS is not offered from the microsoft store so it won’t work. “The biggest difference in Windows 10 S is that can only run apps downloaded from the Windows Store. These apps are checked for security and run in a secure container. This ensures that applications can’t mess with your registry, leave files behind, or cause problems with the rest of your PC. You can get the same benefits by running those new Universal apps from the Windows Store on a Windows 10 PC. But unlike normal Windows 10, you won’t have the option of downloading other apps that aren’t available in the store.”
  3. hmm, just tried and youtube works for me with both edge and internet explorer (supposedly no longer supported)
  4. I’ve just installed KTS 21.1.15.50. and noted that there is apparently no Kaspersky add-on in Internet Explorer unlike the previous version. Is it safe to use IE with this new version?
  5. iirc I had a similar issue in the past having chosen different passwords for this forum and my Kaspersky. try logging in with your my Kaspersky credentials and it should work.
  6. been following this and the better solution for me would be to leave block data collection active but add https://www.telegraph.co.uk/ to private browsing exclusions. That site now works correctly.
  7. I’ve updated 2 pcs today without a problem. I exited Kaspersky before each update.
  8. there is no KTS for android just Kaspersky antivirus. Your kts key should unlock the premium features of Kaspersky antivirus from the play store.
  9. sounds to me like under anti-theft in KIS you have uninstallation protection enabled. If enabled, disable it and try uninstall again.
  10. Also, plus Berny post above, Don't know the cause of your issue but whilst waiting for Technical Support I would try clicking on my Kaspersky on that dialogue box (bottom left), log into my Kaspersky (sign up if you haven't done so before), add your activation code at the bottom of the licence page then apply it to your pc from in there.
  11. Hi Flood, This is what I see in the pull down screen when at the desktop. The three icons appear in the lock screen.
  12. Hmm, I see the same triangle with my phone atm. In my case it's due to my licence expiring in a few days so I have to ask how long is your present licence subscription.
  13. the reason I'm suggesting it's a Android lock is the options in your second pic seems to use similar language to the Android screen lock options
  14. I'm no expert here but I didn't think free KIS gave the user the option to select anti-theft. I have the premium version so don't know for sure. How do you usually get to your desktop screen, swiping to remove the lock? Is the phone originally yours as that screen looks familiar to the one I got recently when somehow the device lock screen was changed from swipe to PIN under settings>security. If the phone wasn't originally yours it's possible that the original owner set a PIN to remove the lock but switched it to swipe when you got it. If it was always yours and you never set a pin then try just leaving the field blank and pressing ok. btw is there a reason why you aren't on android version 9?
  15. I am also having 20-30 seconds freezing at times on my desktop with Windows 10 Pro (Version 1809 17763.437) installed using MCT last week and using KTS 19.0.0.1088(e). In my case I've tracked it down to event ID 129 (Reset to device, \Device\RaidPort1, was issued) in windows logs/system. Never did this with win10 1803 so I'm hoping 1903 will solve this issue...
