Update: I unblocked the files KART detected from the settings and then ran the files.......... It let them run
after a while, I downloaded those files in the zipped form, disabled the Internet and right as I extracted those files, they were blocked instantaneously on access.........
So, here's my question - Shouldn't KART have triggered the on-access scan and blocked the files right away after I had unblocked them, since they were not excluded...?

I was curious to know if KART requires access to the Internet for it to work. Reason I asked this is that while testing it, I had disabled the Internet and ran some malware samples, and it did not seem to do anything, however after enabling the Internet, it did block those files.
I would appreciate if someone from Kaspersky answers this please. -
Hi @Vasily Burov,
I request you to remove this outdated article as there is already an updated version at https://support.kaspersky.com/KART4Home/6.2/en-US/130189.htm -
Sure. Thanks, Vasily.

Just to update everyone following this thread, I came across an updated version of the Support article for KART at https://support.kaspersky.com/KART4Home/6.2/en-US/130189.htm
There, it says that it supports compatibility with most anti-virus applications -

I appreciate your reply but would still require Kaspersky to provide a definitive answer to this.

May I have an update please?

I saw two pages from the Kaspersky website with conflicting information and so was curious
If you refer to https://support.kaspersky.com/KART4Home/5.0/en-US/130189.htm, it says it's not compatible as can be seen below

But if you refer to https://www.kaspersky.com/anti-ransomware-tool, it says it works with most security software

Just wanted to know if it is compatible with other antivirus software or not. Thanks.
Does Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware Tool require access to Internet for it to function?
