Starting today, I’ve been getting a notification from the app for a “Error during an encrypted connection scan in a Kaspersky application” for “nowtv.com”, which I’ve currently decided to set to “Ignore and remember”. Thing is, I’ve never visited or opened up the site myself at all, so I’m curious to why any connection is being attempted at all. I do use the security extension for Chrome, and I’ve promptly nuked any and all cookies that may be tied to the site if this helps. I’m not sure if this is the app itself simply acting up, or if something else is at work here (some background process maybe?). Could just be a bit of paranoia or Windows simply adding yet another “feature”, but I reckon it’s best to err on the side of caution.
