  1. Just found out from local "dealer" in my country, that there are no more licences for KAV and they are offering only for Kaspersky standard/plus/premium, among other Kaspersky products, which are not KAV and KIS. And that is not even the problem. Problem is the price and also there is no price for renewal. Same price every year. I do not remember how much first licence for KAV costed, but renewal price was around 18 Eur in local currency. Now, the price for Kaspersky standard is around 37 Eur, no matter if it is fresh or renewal licence. Double the price? For what? For some "additional" features that no one cares about? To "keep your PC clean"? To "manage software/updates installed on your PC" and so on? Who the hell uses features that can actually damage OS and can damage apps. About 80% of users do not know about those features, because they do not actually care where they just want their PC protected from intrusion. Do non-essential components justify increase in price?
  2. I'm also getting same BSOD and I was also wondering if memory started to fail or have I badly reseated memory after cleaning PC. So I checked with memtest and all sticks passed. Tested much everything, then I remember that all started when I upgraded from KAV to Kaspersky Standard. Tested with KAV again and didn't get any BSOD. I have returned to Standard due to some protection, but this seriously needs to be fixed.
  3. Kaspersky installer is region based. When I go to my kaspersky, and download installer, I can only choose same language but with different coding (Serbian Cyrillic or Serbian Latin) and that is it. By that installed Kaspersky will be in one of those codings but same language. There is no option for English. Nor any other language.
  4. I've alread installed Kaspersky Standard on my computer and it was very hard to find installer and by that in English language. So I decided to go to my kaspersky portal, Kaspersky standard showed up as an option to download it (due to my installed version), but installer is still region based. I do not know why it is done like that, but I like to keep my software in English language, no matter what kind of software it is. Why Kaspersky just doesn't make multi language installer (and software by it)? What if I'm foreigner living in some country, no matter if I know the native language od country that I'm living in, I want that software in my own language? I bought licence in country that I'm living in. Why people who make software do not think in a way "what if"?
  5. I've created topic here: Kaspersky basic standard plus premium when for other countries which is now closed. For what reason was closed, or whoever closed it should be ashamed, because I didn't closed it, nor I gave permission to be closed. So I must make a new topic....again, insted of continuing previous. That is strike 1 for Kaspersky. Strike 2 is that I see that Kaspersky only created new versions for west Europe, but not for east Europe. Are we living in past century, cold war and so on, that we still divide people? Strike 3 is that, at my work we bought Kaspersky small office as better protection instead of Windows defender solution. And we were soooo wrong. It is so intrusive that it really became more of a "virus" than actual defense system. Constant side popups when starting Chrome "are you using Chrome, install Chrome addon" or whatever, where this cannot be shut off. Suggesting to remove "rarely used apps" which cannot be turned off. Constant annoyment in 1 unresolved matter, due to - I do not need web policy management. Luckly suggestion for software update can be turned off. But that implementation is really, urgh. So, as I await "new UI/UX" version of Kaspersky (I'm still on KAV) for "east Europe", and also renewed my licence recently, I wonder if new version will be as much as the same as "small office" in terms of annoyment? If it will, then that is strike 4. Kaspersky should be a defensive mechanism against viruses and so on, not a system that suggests me that I have apps that I do not use frequently, or annoy me because of Chrome, or even suggest me that I update apps. With those suggestions, you can make more harm than good for a lot of people that do not understand IT, but need protection. Also, your "Kaspersky for chrome addon" breaks a lot of functionalities of certain webpages. Please, do not make unnecessary stuff, just to prove you chair that you are sitting on at workplace. Or at least redisgn system that certain things can be turned off, because for someone they are unneccesary. Without constant notification popups.
  6. Hoooly sh... I've checked webpage that Danila T. posted and Kaspersky now has Hard Disk cleaner and Performance optimization? Maybe I missed it first time, when I was checking for "new version". First of all Kaspersky needs to stay Antivirus/Trojan/Adware/Rootkit...etc. protection system. And that's it. I'm about 40 years in IT business and I know how every software works how it is designd and so on, I won't detail too much. When you put on your system software that is auto-updatable, all of us are prone to a bug (bad code writing, which is published as an update), which can come sooner or later, that will "optimize and clean" our drives, even thou it is disabled from very begining and which will work somewhere in backround without any notification towards us (wow, really long sentence, pay attention to commas as you read). So, our files and system can be easily gone and messed up. And every software, every OS has bugs. No matter what new update brings, it can bring more bugs. This is why I do not like to use any tool that will somehow magically refresh my Computer, by messing up with files and registry hive, by deleting whetever it likes. Duplicate files? Well, people duplicate their files for a lot of reasons. One is backup. Kaspersky, please, just don't.
  7. Wow, approx. 8 months from initial release? What's with the hold up? Translation?
  8. I know that. I already wrote that Anti Virus equals Basic. But for French website, there is no option or place to download Basic version. Either it is still not implemented for download, or something else. BTW, I'm not downloading from French website, I will download it either from domestic Kaspersky or from licence distributor website.
  9. While chatting with USA Kaspersky section, I was told that if someone has AntiVirus version, licence can be only applied to Basic version (Anti Virus=Basic). So I'm a bit confused now. If someone in France is using AntVirus version and wishes to switch to newer version of Kaspersky, how can that person switch if there is no Basic version to download?
  10. OK, thanks. I'm from Serbia and it is still not released. I'm not using Serbian language version, because it is easier for me to use technology/software in English language. So half a month or 1 and 1/2 months is not that far. Edit: I checked French website, just for inqury, but there is no mention of Basic version, which is "renamed" version of Anti Virus version. So, what's up with that?
  11. I'm currently using Anti Virus version, but recently I saw on Youtube new version, with new UI. So when I searched for it I only got that versions in title are only available for US (probably north and south America). So, I'm wondering if anyone knows when new versions will come to other countries, which are in Europe (West and South)? I'm asking this due to licence, which is not applicable from Europe to US version of software.
