Daily are new and new viruses over 300 000 new viruses everyday by kaspersky. Also Kaspersky in tests have verry low FP (False Positives). Also if you see in you kaspersky KSN (security network) statistic there is currently over 3,5 billion safe nearly 1,5 billion unsafe 1,8 billion waiting for detection

Also you can create ticket https://my.kaspersky.com/ And Multi.Generic is a malware which is sometime hard to detect. And is often located in Documents (My Computer)

Hi, Welcome. 1GB and 5GB drives (disks)? Kaspersky scan a large archives much longer than other unziped files. Please screenshot. Also which version MAC OS and kaspersky. -

AS i wrote it depends by your region for example on Brazil Website KIS is version kis20.0.14.1085abcdept_19514.exe which means that is included patch e only and before you install this package kaspersky will search for newer version if it available then downloads automatically and also after installation do manuál update and restart PC for (this step install newest patch) if it is available of course. You can ask kaspersky Brazil team about patches. -
@Manideepk90 Not needed (kaspersky looks nice in green and white color) Usefull New interface you mean? (Most people interested about security and how to stay safe) This is AV - AntiVirus not any optimization software for cleaning RAM, defrag your disk… Hmm i dont think that is this feature needed Add animations? Animations are supported and inplemented in product. And teens love customization? Okay but this is not toy.

@DannyDiamond Hi, and welcome. Patch i is installed on most devices you should have this patch also. And also it depend on region. Where are you from? And KIS 2020 was installed how? Over older version or clean install? Also look for detailed reports > update reports (if there is any error) or update working or not. -

Hi, Welcome. Please note patches are coming gradually (depends on region). I have also patch (i) only for now. In couple days i will recieve patch (j) and you also. Hope i helped. -
Where did you find this link? KPM after installing patch j automatically opened this Window witch new privacy policy.

@dougn13111 You can try turn off rootkit scan for 2 days for example and after that enable rootkit scan in settings and check if the problem presists. Go here Kaspersky settings > Performance > Search for software (rootkits) uncheck this.

@dougn13111 this is abnormaly long. In mine case everyday runing automatically approx 7000 or 8000 files scanning duration is few minutes 8-10 min. Please your GSI upload it here and post link in your next reply.

Kaspersky still changing rules (privacy policy etc). Right now i just automatically obtained patch j for KPM and here is window that i must accept new privacy policy (link is not functional Error 404 but i must accept?) @Nobby : Hallo und Wilkommen. Bitte führst dieses Programm und Zip-Archiv hochladen auf GSI Parser und kopiere den Link von GSI Praser hier. Danke @Fuchsberg Er schreibt über DB (Database update / virus definition) und nicht über ein Programm-Update.
