With Kaspersky (paid or free) is it possible that malware can deactivate the antivirus protection and therefore infect the PC as it no longer has protection? Or does Kaspersky have such protection that this is impossible even if malware takes away the administrator rights of the PC?

I suggest adding an option in the USB drive scan settings to not show the scan completion notification (if there is no malware). Otherwise every time you insert a USB drive this notification appears which is annoying if there is nothing important to report. It should appear only if it has found malware. In the Kasperskt Security Cloud Free version it was like this, the user could make this choice. There is an option to customize the scan notification, but turning it off would remove all manual scan notifications. So I suggest to put this choice only in the USB scans option. Thank you.

A background scan is an automatic scan mode of Kaspersky Security Cloud that does not display notifications. This scan requires fewer computer resources than other types of scans (for example, Full Scan). When in this mode, Kaspersky Security Cloud scans the system memory, system volumes, boot sectors and startup objects, and searches for rootkits. I have KSC free version, as an update setting I leave the automatic one or better set the one every hour starting from a specific time? With the automatic one, I noticed that the definition update interval is a few hours from each other. Is this normal? Does the same thing happen also in the paid version or is it only so in the free version? Thanks.
