  1. In my case, installation was interrupted when starting to install KES. The first step (NETWORK AGENT) was ok. Solved removing old antivirus traces with ccleaner (registry clean of malwarebytes and norton), then cleaning temp folder. Contacted kaspersky support, they found also an old key of symantec antivirus in windows registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Norton\{0C55C096-0F1D-4F28-AAA2-85EF591126E7} I have deleted this key > restarted pc > unistalled partly installed kaspersky > restarted pc > reinstalld kaspersky. Now it works correctly! M.

  3. the only way to solve, is to “promote” specified user, with admin rights. In this way he can add exceptions….
  4. I tried to set password protection for these settings: but on the client interface i continue to see settings grayed out. I think it is importnt for a user to set an exception. For instance: as soon as installed, kaspersky killed as a virus, an important software called Mailstore (mail archieving) as a false positive. In these situation, I would like user could add exceptions… but on client interface, all settings grayed out even if i click on lock, it doesn’t ask me to enter a passwort do unlock these settings. marco
  5. Hi Andrew, sincerely I tryed to look into security profiles, but I have not dound the parameter to “unlock” user, and allow it to manage locally exceptions… marco
  6. Hi Alexey, the question is…. how to disable this lock? Thank you. marco
  7. Anybody could tell me the way to allow user, to set this feature, directly from end user client interface? How to set this “allow user setting”, on the security portal? Thank you. Marco
  8. Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud: allow user to set exclusions. Hallo, I’m trying to find a setting on Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud, to allow a user or a device to set exclusions to folders or files. I can set it, using cloud console, but if I try to set it from client interface on pc, all setting are greyed out. I try to put user in admin group, but anything changes… How to set thing that users can do and do not? Thank you Marco
