If TV supports supports installing VPN apps - should work as well (you can get necessary credentials at MyK portal). I guess AndroidTV should support oVPN app.

So as the title states, I purchased the VPN for up to five devices on the apple store from my mac at work. I have installed the application on my PC and it is not recognizing that I have a subscription. I have the email confirming the subscription but no license key and customer support simply kept telling me to input the license key that I do not have.
Try connection you Kaspersky VPN on Mac to MyKaspersky account. Your license should get attached to this Mac. Then you can attach your Kaspersky VPN on PC to same account and license should get applied to it as well.

I’d like to suggest that an Australian connection be included as any Australian users are at a severe disadvantage when using this app.
I`ve just noticed that Australia appeared in the list of available servers. Please check, hope this helps.

I’m in Australia, and sometimes when I connect my secure connection, it connects through a totally different country. Today it’s Germany. Then when I try to log into some sites, it’s the German site, and I don’t read German! There is no option to connect through Australia, so what can I do?

I can not accept the fact that no Kaspersky VPN users have not set up their router to issue a total VPN cover on a home network/ WIFI. Surely someone in this community has done this before?
I don`t think this is possible so far. Config file required can probably be provided by Kaspersky only and it doesn`t look they support this so far. Looks like a good request for a new feature.

I am trying to access the Netflix Canada library but it keeps blocking me saying I need to turn off proxy to continue. The US based servers work fine but the Canada servers never work with Netflix.
Any possible fix of this? I wish there was feature to change servers in case one doesn't work.
As far as I know, Netflix in Secure Connection works flawlessly only for VPN servers in US and UK.

Will it be possible to stream via Secure Connection in future?
At the moment, streaming will be blocked via VPN by Amazon Prime and Netflix.
I was previously told video streaming support is already in development.
I guess it might become official only once and if Kaspersky announces this. However not sure if such support can be publically stated. Anyways, if I`d be having more info or will notice some improvements in streaming - will try not to forget to post an update here at least:)

Kaspersky is very open about their free software may have advertising and they always advise “no Technical Support” for their free software.

This doesn`t look like a window from Secure Connection. In my case there is no such reference:

I believe this policy is not applicable to Kaspersky freemium products, such as Secure Connection.
Anyways - my support requests were always handled even as for a free user.
Regarding ads - never seen any ads in Kaspersky products.

Согласен, однако, логично ожидалось новое сообщение в “шторку”, о том, что ВПН отключился… я к тому, что подобного на экране быть не должно.
да, разумно. По идее должна быть пара событий - включено\выключено.
Я поигрался у себя и похоже осознал логику. При открытом главном окне - тосты в шторку НЕ кидаются. Они летят туда только если статус соединения меняется при закрытом окне.
У себя при закрытом окне отключил коннект из контекстного меню - получил тост нужный:

Apologies for jumping into conversation. I cannot confirm these 2 bullets from my experience. Also I wasn`t able to find such information anywhere on Kaspersky sites.
I don`t have ads from Kaspersky, nor my support requests were rejected when I was a free version user.

В одном окне показывает, что соединение установлено, в другом - нет.
Главное окно показывает текущий статус. “шторка” винды - это тост-сообщение, которое актуально лишь на момент его отправки. Далее оно хранится в истории сообщений винды. Т.е. у вас в 11:27 ВПН был включен, далее отключен\отключился, что видно из главного окна.

Hi smus. This is quite unusual setup nowadays. I believe you`re using ICS (internet connection sharing) at PC1.
Such behaviour seems to be expected, since local network becomes unavailable once you enable VPN. You can probably try playing with the routes on PC1, but not sure this will work.
One easy option is to avoid using VPN at PC1 and use in PC2 instead:). This should work.
Do you have examples with any other VPN when LAN keeps working?

Hi. This is a known issue for any VPN service. In general the thing is that IP address of VPN exit node is getting flagged by some email servers - since many users are using same IP, and some of them might be actually sending spam - the IP address gets blacklisted.
There`re some ways to workaround this issue and seems Kaspersky is working on applying them soon.

China Mac user need dmg or pkg file of Kaspersky Secure Connection, while it is no available in Mac App Store.
The easier way might be to change the region of your Mac AppStore account to install the app from there. I`ve done this some day for an iPhone, pretty sure it should also work for Mac as well.

Do you guys confirm it’s already working?
I cannot confirm this personally since I`m on Android 9.0, who doesn`t have the bug in subject.
But there`re numerous confirmations in GPlay reviews from other users - fix worked for them.
Anyways, even if for you it won`t work for some reason - you can always boot into safe mode and uninstall the app causing issue.

I was actually unaware of safe mode function. It will be helpful in case of other setbacks.
Nevertheless, before installing the app again, I’ll still wait some days :)You`re welcome. Recent GPlay reviews confirm that new version`s workaround helps. Good luck!

I can confirm that this happened to me also. I installed the latest update for my Android 8.0 LG G7 phone yesterday. As soon as I open the app after I downloaded it it caused the bootloop. I ran my phone in safe mode and deleted the app which fixed the problem. I tried re-downloading the app off the Android marketplace and as soon as I ran the app again it caused the bootloop.
There is an updated version version in GPlay (1.6.0.1143) which has a workaround. Please give it try.

This is just to let you know that the most recent Kaspersky secure connection crashed my Xperia Sony phone.
My phone was in a reboot loop. I could fix the problem uninstalling it before the phone switched off, I had just a few seconds...
Hi df80. This seems to be an issue on Android 8.0 (fixed on 8.1+) & some specific devices only. Kaspersky say they`ve found a way to workaround the issue on app`s side and they have already started rolling out updated version of app (thus it most probably should be available for everybody in a matter of a few days).
Please wait for an updated version of Secure Connection in nearest days.

I might assume that it may be the lower call quality artefacts. It depends on the channel bandwidth, therefore should be affected by any VPN and telegram decreases the quality to accommodate to lower connection speed \ higher latency.
