Can you please provide us with information about the products and versions you have in use?
In the screenshot I see KES10. Please make sure that you are using a supported version = version 10.3.3.275 or higher.
https://support.kaspersky.com/corporate/lifecycle#b2b.block0.kes10I strongly recommend upgrading to the latest versions:
KSC/Agent 12.1 https://support.kaspersky.com/ksc12#downloads
KES11.4 https://support.kaspersky.com/kes11#downloads
regards
alexHi @alexcad and @sucahyo,
never seen this bug before, seems crazy to me.. but I’d also recommend to upgrade to newer versions. Be careful, versions 11.3 and 11.4 are only compatible with KSC 12!Cheers,

Hi @julianhave and @bsylvain!
I’d understand this if you had at least one machine with KES10 installed, or if you had an active policy for that product.. but for this I have no explanation 🙄
Anyway, we have to take it as it is and be grateful that there is a way out 🤡
Take care, guys!

Well, I’m afraid I’ve emptied my ideas on this problem 😓
I’d recommend to submit an incident on company portal, providing GSI report (how to) and other details (OS version, etc.):

Wish you luck, Julian!

Hi @MilanBortel
I should uninstall this?

Yes, I’d try to uninstall this one.. close KSC, restart host.. and then install new plug-in 🤠
-
Ok, so you have the patch “a” installed 🤔
Well, the only other option I can think of is - reinstalling KES plug-in. Please see this article on how to uninstall plug-ins.. You can download fresh new plug-in from here.

Nope, that’s admin console installer.. you need to approve the patch installation from KSC → follow this guide:

If the patch is available, you’ll see red notification in the main administration server monitoring here:

Or you can see “Kaspersky Lab software version report” to confirm if the patch is installed or not:

-
Hm.. that is really funny, since I can see only two policies and of course you have plug-ins installed for both of them ;)
Btw. there is patch available for KSC 12, have you already installed it? See this link for more info. It might resolve this bug..

Hi @julianhave,
can you also share the printscreen of your policies container? We are trying to identify whether each one of your policies has it’s plug-in:
-
Hello @julianhave,
can you pls check Administration Server Properties:
then you can check which plug-ins and what versions you have currently installed:

Can you share printscreen with us? :)

You’re welcome, you can set one of my answers as “Best answer” 😇

Well, you are mixing two products together I’m afraid.
KSWS (dedicated security product for Windows Servers) has the latest version 10.1.2.996
KES (both personal/server) is in latest version 11.4.0.233
You can’t upgrade from KSWS to KES, these are different products, ok?
-
Hello @jetb2,
I think you got a little confused about Corporate products :) Let me explain..
- security products
- central management console = Kaspersky Security Center (KSC)
KES can be installed on personal Windows but also on server versions. You can see which components are available on servers here. The decision whether you install KES on Windows server is yours to make, there are PROS/CONS like always :)
If you want to create ticket in Company Account:

Kaspersky Company Account Make sure you select the proper categories - for KSC you should go this way:

KSC new request for KSWS product you should select this:

KSWS new request Let me know, if it makes sense now ;)

Oh, I see … I’m afraid that this can be solved only the “hard way”, disabling all Windows error messages - I was able to find this https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/disable-windows-error-message-popups
Specially this part might be interesting:

Disabling all error pop-ups Let me know ;)

Hello @Mario,
you want to hide the Kaspersky Notification Message?

Hi @aaa381,
in case you find the report displaying weird data, I’d start with recreating that report.. Also, you can right-click that report and go to Properties.. There you can modify certain settings, like e.g. what columns will be displayed in report, and if/what fields you want to display in “summary part”:

Report → Properties Cheers,

Hi @MARYA,
are you able to ping KSC from such hosts? -
Yes, @aehrlich is right - there are different options within task settings 🤞
-
Hi Antony,
yeah.. the default setting is to keep only 3 days history (which is normally ok, if you have other long-term backup plans)..And yes, you can use FDERT utility, to access data (see https://support.kaspersky.com/9758)
BTW: did you remove the “managed devices” group setting to automatically remove device based on inactivity?

Hi @antonywellings,
wow, what a trouble.. I can imagine! What I’m thinking - do you have KSC backup? You can restore KSC data to few weeks back (managed devices would still be available for challenge/response FDE..).Does it make sense to you?

Hi @mfpoulsen,
what a mess, I have to say! Clients are not connecting to KSC, because the certificate is no longer valid obviously.I can think of 2 ways out:
- installing new cert on KSC (see https://support.kaspersky.com/12604#block2)
- this would not connect hosts back to KSC, since they won’t learn of the new cert.. you’d need to run klmover utility locally on the clients to set up new cert (see https://help.kaspersky.com/KSC/SP3/en-US/3911.htm) - fresh KSC installation (would get new certificate) + reinstalling Network Agents on all clients
Maybe someone here will come up with other workaround..
Cheers,
Milan - installing new cert on KSC (see https://support.kaspersky.com/12604#block2)
-
Cool :)
Well, KSC can only manage hosts with NAgent installed, that’s the basic idea.. without it, it’s not taken as a “managed device”, it’s not automatically synchronized, etc. ..
Glad it’s working now, you can set one of my answers the “best answer” button ;)
Cheers,

Hi guys,
I hate to admit that search by IP is not available in web console.. I use it quite often in MMC. Luckily, I found one additional workaround. This solution works for Web console latest version 12.0.107.
- add IP column to list of managed devices
- export to CSV/TXT
- perform search in Notepad/Excel..

Devices→Managed Devices Cheers,

Hello @GLFI69,
remember - if you want to do backups on different machine (than KSC server), you need to allow both KSC service account + SQL service account to have R/W permissions to that share 😇Cheers,
Milan -
Ok ..
Have you tried “force synchronization”, is the host visible from KSC? What is the host status? :)

Hello @AbdulRahim,
I believe you are looking for an “out-of-office” setup..
Let me know, if you have any further questions 🤓
