My wife tried to get online bank statements. Got “Err_Connection_timed_out” message. Using Windows 10, Total Security, Windows defender “off”, ethernet connection. I tried to reach the same website on each computer in my office and had same result. Finally turned on Kaspersky VPN and was able to access the site. I got to looking for instructions to “whitelist” the address and couldn’t find what I was looking for. It would seem safer to access this information through an ethernet connection and my Kaspersky Total Security than sending the traffic through a VPN. Am I wrong or right? Can somebody point me to the right instructions for allowing traffic to and from my bank?
