I use Kaspersky on my android Xiaomi MIUI Global 13.0.4, version 12 SKQ.211006.001. I work in an airport and I usually connect to the free wi fi. The VPN used to work properly but in the last 2 days it's not activating at all, within even an error message. It just stays as in the attached screenshot.

I restarted multiple times, I tried to connect to different servers and I even installed it and re installed it.

I'm out of options. What can I do?
