An acceptable alternative is Norton 360 Premium. I had endless trouble with this automatic upgrade from KTS 2020 to 2021 and my licences suddenly being invalidated. I must have uninstalled on 7 of our 10 machines at least 3 times only to find the problem popping up agin within a few days. The vendor even went so far as to give me new activation keys as we bout a 10 licence pack. I went back to the 2019 version which gives one the ability to stop automatic upgrades. Been stable now for at least 3 weeks. Also sick of being overwhelmed by pop-ups of each and every Kaspersky product for sale including kids safe……. good luck

when these licences expire I will be moving to another AV. Ive also noticed that there are now way to many pop-ups trying to convince you to buy this and install that. We use this in our small business environment so I don’t need Kid Safe continually pushed in my face

I did, they reset my licences, but not before I overcame the problem by uninstalling the update and then going back to the 2019 version. 2019 gives a user the capability to stop automatic application updates, whereas from 2020 this functionality has been removed from Kaspersky. Since doing that the systems are now stable and only the anti-virus signatures run automatically

I purchased a 10 user licence from an online seller of the KTS 2020 software. I installed it on 7 of our 10 active machines in our business. This was in May 2020. Around July 2020, my machines automatically started upgrading to the 2021 version and in the process deleting my licence. I was then also prompted to re-activate or renew my licence. This was despite the fact that all my machines had between 270 and 280 days remaining on their licernces.When I retrieved the activation codes from My Kaspersky and tried to re-activate bit was told that the licence was not for this version. I then removed the 2021 version and re-installed the 2020 version and then the activation codes worked. Unfortunately after about a month the process started to repeat itself. The seller even sent me new keys to re-activate but I got the same ptrompt that the key was not for this version. We will now be moving away from Kaspersky which we have used for about 7 years and moving over to another AV. Too many pop-ups and advertisements also noted and no way to stop automatic upgrade. Very frustrating
