OK, thanks a lot for your help.

Well, the software is meant to run also in normal mode. If it doesn't and given the error message in event viewer, there must be a conflict with something. That's a malfunction that I feel it should be looked into.

Thanks for your reply. Is there a way to fix the problem of tdsskiller not running in normal mode?

In safe mode tdsskiler runs and scans normally.

- Kaspersky Free 19.0.0.1088(f)
- Windows 10 Home 1903 (buid 18362.175)
- Only Kaspersky antivirus
- No errors, just a "rootkit scan canceled" earlier today.
- I just want to make sure it will run when I may need it.

Hi, my issue is that tdsskiller will not start. My computer is not infected. I have scanned it with various tools, including Kasperky free antivirus. I have moved tdsskiller to desktop, tried to run as administrtator, tried renaming it to random.com and I have the latest version. My PC antivirus is Kasperky free (could this be the reason?). Please advice.
Cannot run tdsskiller [in Normal mode, Faulting application name: tdsskiller.exe. OK in Safe mode.]
