PUPs (potentially unwanted programs) or PUAs (potentially unwanted apps) are not malware, they are  bundled in legitimate software that  get installed on your PC without your knowledge.

Bro, I’m just trying to read what the notification says and I can’t because kaspersky is overriding windows a/v settings. Is my only option to uninstall kaspersky and use windows native defender if I want to read what windows security notifications say?

Hi, I’m not sure if we are on the same page. I’m trying to find out how I can see what potentially unwanted app windows security found, not scan or remove anything. Does this mean kaspersky wont let me see what windows security finds??

Windows security notification pop up “app & browser control”: potentially unwanted app found; to review your options, go to windows security.

 

When I click notification windows security opens and highlights kaspersky security cloud. Because kaspersky is managing virus threat protection? 

There is no notification in kaspersky, so what is windows security trying to notify? Where can I found out whats being flagged?
