I've never clicked on the KIS Reboot button because for every previous application update the normal evening shutdown (using the Shutdown Start menu option) and next morning power-on (pressing the power button, it's a desktop PC) has satisfied KIS's Reboot need. After that next morning power-on, KIS has always completed whatever it needed to do to finish any pending application update.
After my defence above , I did click the KIS Reboot button and it did finish the update. No Warning now and the version incremented to 21.3.10.391(i)
Has Kaspersky changed this so that shutdown/power-on is not good enough any more to complete an application update? Or was it just a bug in the update from h to i?
Thanks for your help.
