  1. Many thanks for your reply. I have updated KSC as advised (I thought it updated itself automatically). Both KSC and LilySpeech are free. KSC is still killing LilySpeech when I install it.

Windows 10 Home 20H2 (OS Build 19042.804), Kaspersky Security Cloud 21.2.16.590 (b) I paused Kaspersky Protection, installed LilySpeech and made it a trusted application and resumed Kaspersky and that seemed to work. But when I restarted LilySpeech I had the old problems. I attach screenshots of the Trusted Application entry.
  3. LilySpeech is a wonderful speech to text program which has just one problem: Kaspersky Security Cloud won’t let it run. I have tried excluding its folder but I don’t know what to put in the Object box. The Security Cloud instructions link to a Virus Encyclopedia which does not exist. I have tried adding it as a Trusted Application, but here the problem is that as soon as it is installed it starts automatically and is immediately zapped by Kaspersky. I reported this as a product which should not be a problem but it is still being deleted. Can anyone help. This is extremely frustrating.
  4. Many thanks for your detailed reply. I do use a VPN. I followed your instructions with VPN off and it confirmed that my subscription was active and that my database had been updated 2 hours ago. I’ll have to check if it’s only when I use the VPN that I get the error message. (It’s actually a notification saying Error connecting to My Kaspersky). One thing that confused me was that Kaspersky Help shows a window reached from More Tools which shows an entry for My Kaspersky but mine doesn’t. I am using Windows 10 and my Kaspersky version is 21.2.16.590(b). Once again, many thanks.
  5. I keep getting an Unable to connect to My Kaspersky message. Is it possible to use My Kaspersky with Security Cloud Free? If so, how do I do it? There does not seem to be the option. If not, I don’t need the message, so how do I stop it?
