  1. That worked from the CMD line if i manually placed the files in the directory. Now its up to me to figure out how to get the deploy software to move it all. Thanks for the quick assist, and solution.
  2. When trying to deploy KES 11.3.0.773 via command line, or Baramundi, the installation fails. Below is the command line paramters: msiexec.exe /I C:\ProgramData\baramundi\BMA\Downloads\Temp\kes_win.msi /qn EULA=1 PRIVACYPOLICY=1 ALLOWREBOOT=1 KSN=1 When looking through Event Viewer, i see Event 10005 MsiInstaller Error. Application: Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows -- Anti-virus databases are required to install the application. Contact your system administrator.
  3. I finally gave up and erased the computer, installed Mojave, installed the newest version of KES, and then upgraded the OSX back to Catalina.
  4. I have now tried manually adding Full Disk access prior to installation. It behaves the same in that it goes to the login screen at 90% still, but when i logged back in this time, there was a prompt for allowing notifications from KES. I selected allow, and noticed it was now listed in Finder. I installed the newest netagent from the website. Then when i checked the Management Console, it showed only the Agent was installed (it showed version 11.0.0.32) but said no security application was present. I rebooted the machine, and upon signing back in, noticed KES was no longer present in Finder, and the Management Console still shows no security application running. I was at no point ever prompted to insert our license key. This behavior has been duplicated on a Macbook Pro, and iMac now. All details above pertain to both devices.
  5. Clean install of the OS. KES install pulled directly from the website today. Only thing I have done prior to installation of KES is to run “sudo spctl --master-disable” to allow all apps. I have also tried a clean install of the OS and left the security settings to default. Both ways result in the same issue. At around 90-95% installed, the user account signs out and goes back to the log in screen. Upon signing back in, you have to start the installation over, and the same thing happens at 90-95%.
  6. I cannot deploy those individual applications. So my question became, is the Image Deployment through Kaspersky a solid option. I have tried other Image Deployment options that turned out to be a waste of time. So I was looking for opinions on how well it works in this software. Unless someone has an idea of how to get the install packages to work for those 2 programs, my plan was to install all needed software, including those two applications, and grab the image for future deployments of the software.
  7. I am currently running KSC 11. We have an older version of some software called Metaviewer, and another application called IBM iSeries that we use. Both of those applications fail to deploy from the installation packages I created within KSC. There error it gives is something along the lines of The Task has exceeded time limit. If there is something more I can do to get better information, let me know and I would be happy to rebuild the installation packages and redeploy them to try and gather more information. At this point I have reset my Windows installation on our test machine to try going the route of installing all of the software, and building a deployment image from KSC, if the software is able to accomplish this. I am open to whichever route sounds like it will best accomplish this task. Ideally if there is a way to get the installation tasks to work, thats the simplest. However, the iSeries task almost always requires a restart before it will even start the task. I.E. Double click the installation icon, it starts the normal questions like disk location etc, and then says there is a pending system restart required before you can install. You restart the machine, and then you can start over and it will install fine. It will give this message even if you just restarted the machine prior to trying to install the software. So I don't think we will be able to get this application to install through auto deploy, unless someone knows some fancy tricks :)
  8. I have been having trouble deploying a few software packages through the KSC. I am curious how well OS Image deployment works, so that i can possibly prep a computer with the problematic software and use an image from that machine to deploy on new machines. Does anyone have experience using this feature?
  9. I just wanted to circle back around. We have set up Distribution Points for all sites and that is working flawlessly and greatly sped up the installation process. Thank you for the information.
  10. At a quick glance, this appears to be a viable option. I will work on getting this set up and report back. Thanks for the direction, and link.
  11. I work for a company with 9 remote locations. We currently run a server at our HQ, and do all remote installations out of that location. This has been ok with our smaller sites that only require a handful of users to be interacted with. We have acquired a larger company now, and need to be able to push installations and updates from that location ideally. Is it possible to have remote installation and management servers? Is a "Virtual Administration Server" what I need to be looking at? If so, is there a guide somewhere to creating and deploying such a server. I have not found much information on this topic from my current searches. If this is possible, does it require any additional licensing from the management side of things to deploy virtual administration servers?
