  1. Hi @Jazzy

Regarding the black screen after first login. It looks like a known issue, fix is expected.

    Try this workaround:

    1. Press ALT+CTL+DEL combination.
    2. Open Task Manager - File - Run new task.
    3. Type Explorer.exe and click OK.
    Regards,

    Igor

  2. Hi @88_TOP

Kaspersky Protection addon supports work of some functions of Kaspersky products in browsers. Without Kaspersky Protection these functions continue to work, but the productivity of the program is reduced. .

E.g. Kaspersky Protection is needed to:

    • protect entering data on the site pages, the addon provides connection between the Kaspersky program and the browser to transmit data from physical and virtual keyboards.
    • tracks the redirect chains to detect phishing sites. Kaspersky Protection addon gives additional possibilities to detect phishing sites
    • support Anti-Banner work
    • allows Anti-Banner to block pop-up ads

    Regards,

    Igor

  5. hi, submitting an issue to Kaspersky support is a good idea.

What Kaspersky version are you using? On the screenshot it looks like the version is 2019, is this so? If yes, please remove current version with KavRemover tool:
    https://support.kaspersky.com/common/uninstall/1464

    And install 2020: https://www.kaspersky.com/downloads/thank-you/internet-security#download
    Will the issue persist?

    Rgrds,

    Igor

  6. Hi @LinuxPusher, I checked the logs, it looks like a false positive on the side of Snort. As it detectes as Portsweep a lot of other IP addresses, like Facebook. etc.

Regarding the issue with PC crashing at 1% of scan, please submit a ticket to technical support at my.kaspersky.com, we will request additional information and investigate this issue further.

Meanwhile you can scan the system via Kaspersky Rescure Disk.

    Read before using: https://support.kaspersky.com/14231
