  1. Thanks Berny for your patient help. I just renewed and I was taken to a page with download links. Should I download these installers, install the software, and then enter the activation code into them, OR should I enter the activation code into the existing application which is still active. It expires after TWO Days
  2. Do I have KIS 2020 now? How can I tell? Is the code - Kaspersky Internet Security 20.0.14.1085(j) - indicative of KIS 2020?
  3. There is no K-icon and the system tray only a shield icon which has become red, as expiry date is only 6 days away. The version information displayed when I am hovering my mouse cursor on the reddened shield icon is: Kaspersky Internet Security 20.0.14.1085(j) Reboot is required (this is an issue and I will reboot to rectify)
  4. Thank you @Bernie for your prompt reply. How do I know that I am using the latest version?
  5. My Kaspersky Internet Security expires in another 6 days. It is installed in two devices, in my laptop and android phone. If I renew from my laptop, do I just get an activation code which I should enter in both devices? Or is a new software downloaded? In which case, should I activate from both devices? Or if it is just a new code that I will be getting, after obtaining the activation code, where should I enter it, since the license is still active and will be active for another six days. Should I wait for the current license to expire before activation?
  6. Thank you very much bobbycooper. But I would like to uninstall and put the code back myself. So, can I do that by not checking License Information?
  7. Thank you FLOOD, for the prompt and detailed clarification. Let me tell you what I happened in my case. This is what I did. Almost five days after the expiry of license for KIS 2018, I clicked the renew button in the dashboard of KIS 2018, I was sent to a webpage where I selected KIS once again, and I was emailed an activation code. When I clicked on the activation code, it downloaded a startup.exe However, instead of clicking on the startup.exe and running it, I simply entered the Activation Code into the dashboard of the older installed version of KIS which was running with limited functionality. It accepted the Activation Code and the installed version is now running with full functionality. My question is, is this fine, or should I un-install the KIS and run the downloaded startup.exe, install a newer version and once again enter the Activation Code emailed to me?
  8. The license for my KIS 2018 had expired and so I went online and bought a license for 3 devices for 1 year. Now should I download the setup and run it and make a new installation or should I just enter the new activation code into the already installed KIS 2018 running with limited functionality.
