Hi There, i thought i would bring this up as this has not just happened to my self but also my parents (who use the same Kaspersky product) While doing a Full scan on their computer, Kaspersky picked up 1 object as a trojan, the file was named InsydeFlash.exe and was in the recovery section of the computer. Upon viewing their scan log, i thought to my self i would scan my laptop also (which is the exact same computer as theirs , along with Operating system etc) during the full scanning of my laptop my Kaspersky picked up the exact same file for apparently being a malicious object and i have updated my laptop recently. both my parents and my self have completely different internet browsing habits and they’ve been taught by myself for years to avoid dodgy websites and scams etc which they have done well. I also did some research on the file “Insydeflash.exe” and discovered its to do with HP computers / the Bios? I'm thinking since my computer and theirs has been updated, something inside that file for example the code has set off Kaspersky into thinking its a trojan virus? Any help or advice or feedback would be great as this has come as a bit of a shock to ourselves. Thanks PC Build : WIN 10 AVG Name : Kaspersky Total Security Version: 21.3.10.391(g)
