[What does Enable Advanced Disinfection technology for? [moved]]

Hi guys! I'm editing a policy for Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows (11.1.0.15919) and I'd like to know what does the option "Enable Advanced Disinfection technology" for? Under General Settings-->Application Settings. I've read in some internet forums about this and I found differents ideas and opinions. Thank you for the help!
