  1. Hello @fsm1987, You’re most welcome! A comparative test is of little real value, unless, you & (us) have identical: software, hardware, network, environmental factors. Our KPM syncs take less than a second for each, we have 800+ entries. The issues you’re reporting cannot be resolved by the Kaspersky Community, if the software has a subscription license, not trial, please log the cases with Kaspersky Technical Support, as per our guidance in our last reply. There is a select box - as shown in our first reply, in our second image. Thank you🙏 Flood🐳 +🐋 Thanks for your reply. I’m not able to see the select box in your image. By select box I mean this: It exists on KPM but I’ve only found it when trying to add items to a folder. Perhaps I’m not using a proper word to refer to it. We do have a language barrier between us (I’m not a native speaker), sorry if that’s the case. Otherwise, please show me the selection box - it’ll most likely solve my issue.
  2. Hello @fsm1987, 🅰 Re "Whenever I click the Disable icon & try to click the same Disable icon, in another entry, I have to wait for the long sync to end.." Correct, by selecting Disable, you've instructed KPM to disable checking for a specific site/app/resource in the local repository & the encrypted cloud resource. If there's a significant delay, there may be network issues, given your other topics, it’s not unreasonable to suspect that. 🅱 Re "Not to mention, passwords altered in the app don't get automatically updated & sometimes require refreshing this screen several times". If there's a significant delay, there may be network issues, given your other topics, it’s not unreasonable to suspect that. 🅰 &🅱 Any such issues should be logged with Kaspersky Technical Support → follow the Contact Technical Support guide. Re “batch delete” option, fill in either: Feedback, I have a complaint or I have a suggestion template & submit to Kaspersky Technical Support. Thank you🙏 Flood🐳 +🐋 Could you please check on your side and confirm how many seconds it takes to sync after clicking 2-3 items in sequence? Does it take more than the ~5 secs I’ve mentioned? Yes, it might be an issue with my network, but I haven’t had this issue with Norton, LastPass and other similar softwares before. I am, indeed, intrigued with how many issues I’m having with Kaspersky. Also, disconnecting from the internet during the sync process produced a perpetual sync circle to show up, keeping me from accessing any resource from KPM at all. Considering KPM is suppose to be used in other apps as well, this shouldn’t happen, and it’s easy to reproduce it. It shouldn’t be hard to save all changes and sync it in background, making the process transparent. Specially for an app hold hundreds of passwords. Even if we put this issue aside, I doubt anyone would question the utility of a select box next to each entry to make the process of deleting/whatever easier. EDIT: I’ve tried to turn the internet off and THEN do what I was trying to do - now it worked perfectly. Before, I tried to turn the internet off without leaving the “Verificação de senhas” tab and it wouldn’t let me use ANY resource of the app = it got totally stuck until I was reconnected. A workaround is to disable internet BEFORE opening this tab then do all editing enabling again. I’m really trying, but I can’t see how it couldn’t be much much better… again, by simply making the sync process run in background, like most apps do.
  3. OS version & build? Windows 10 Version 10.0.19043 Build 19043 Kaspersky software version & patch(x) x = letter? KMP 9.0.2.16299 (p) / 1624377209_6917 / 1.0.363.0-0.8.3.0_1 Screen-print(s) of the issue(s) → if we can see what you see, it helps us help you. There is no “batch delete”. That’s the main issue… about all password managers have it. This feature should be added as soon as possible - really. Have you used the “Search” field? I could, but it wouldn’t help in the task I’m trying to perform.
  4. I’m trying to fix all my compromised / unsafe password with KPM, however this process is extremely slow. You can’t quickly click on the icon that stops watching some account (the bell with a line crossing it) because you get the whole window gets greyed out and a spinning circle of syncing keeps you from performing any action for 5-10 secs - considering I have over 200 entries to update/correct, it’s taken me a couple hours and will probably a lot more.
  5. Hello @fsm1987, Also, to address only these 4 points: KPM bug impacted a number of users & was replicable. No difference in GUI design/layout. Quarantine is indeed in Tools, Security - it’s a repository for objects that have been detected, not a Setting. Rightclick the Kaspersky icon (in Windows hidden icons or Windows Taskbar), select Pause protection. Thank you🙏 Flood🐳 +🐋 Thank you, Berny and Flood and Flood’s wife! The right click → pause protection is quite intuitive and I didn’t happen to find it - thought it would be in top of settings or main screen - my mistake. Although, perhaps, it could be there as well. All in all, I really feel some features could be “closer”, it is really troublesome to access a file that has been kept from opening or quarantined. Items 2, 3, and 4 (specially 3 and 4) could result in a whole new user experience - in my opinion. @Berny asked which detections failed to be properly add to exclusion/opened. It varies a lot, but they were mostly items marked as Not-a-virus. Eventually it works, eventually it doesn’t - happened in all computers I’ve installed Kaspersky. I believe it succeeds in adding the exclusion in some of those ocasions but the items remains there as if I had not chosen what to do with it. Also, if I’ve added and exclusion for this item, I wonder if it wouldn’t make sense to automatically ask or simple restore the previously deleted file. Alternatively (or even better: additionally) restoring the file could prompt the user to choose whether he wants to add an exception / allow such app. About those items that we are not offered a choice at all - it’s just disinfect + restart or disinfect and try not to restart, I can’t really understand why we wouldn’t be given other choices at all… I really feel it’s quite invasive. Specially considering I didn’t have the setting regarding automatic actions enabled. Also happened in all computers.
  6. I’m sure it isn’t a DNS issue. I’m trying to open the same website on 3 laptops, 1 desktop and 4 different mobiles about now (iphone, s8, s9 and s10). Only the ones running Kaspersky can reproduce this issue. After removing Kaspersky everything works perfecly again.
  7. Hi guys. I’ve been struggling with Kaspersky since I decided to try it - 2-3 weeks ago. I’ve even posted some issues on the forum - 1 of them has been fixed, which is amazing since it was just a few days after I posted about it. Another issue is pending, but I feel it won’t be easy to solve it or it will demand more effort than I can dedicate to it. I decided to list all main issues I’ve found while using Kaspersky - that I didn’t find in other antivirus solutions or that I’ve found to be easier on them. Maybe some of those features make sense for other users so they can be implemented. Some issues might have a workaround that I’m not aware of - hopefully. There isn’t a single button to fully disable Kaspersky - we have to open the app, go to settings, pick one by one every module, disable, save, confirm (4 clicks per module), for every 15 modules (total 62 clicks...) - and I feel some apps are still being blocked even after doing that; Some features are found in totally different places, while they seem to handle similar functions - some are in settings or “more tools” (using PT-BR version, not sure how it is in the english version) and some are in the main screen. For instance, I have to go to tools→ security → to undo a file that has been excluded, then I have to go to main screen and choose to add an exclusion to the same file, since Kaspersky will keep blocking it (ugh), I have to open settings → threats and exclusions and add the app to BOTH exclusion and as trustworthy. It varies from app to app, some demand all of the steps above, some demand a different combination of them. A lot of times Kaspersky bugs when you are trying to handle a threat, adding it to exclusions. You choose this option but the threat remains there until you decide to exclude. Eventually, even after removing the option to handle threats automatically, Kaspersky gives you simply 2 options: disinfect and restart or disinfect whitout restarting. What if I do not want Kaspersky to do anything?Clearly one shouldn’t even considering disabling their antiviruses (item 1 above), but after so many issues (items 3 and 4) that’s the only choice we have - and even this proccess (item 2) takes so much time... I know that’s how the app works, but maybe some of this comments might turn into some better version of it. I do not intend to offend anyone with so many “complaints” - I coul just save my time and not mention it at all, but I decided to give it a try. Kind regards.
  8. Is this message a Kaspersky notification 🤔 , can you please provide a screenshot. This notification appears on Chrome for Windows and for Android, after installing Kaspersky on my devices (1 desktop + 2 laptops + 1 mobile). It stopped happening on my laptop in normal mode (not-incognito) after doing all sorts of disabling/exclusions/tears/suffering. Now it randomly works on incognito and always runs out of this mode. I also had an issue while trying to open some .exe Kaspersky finds dangerous. Even after adding all exclusions I could it still blocks some executables and, eventually, you get only 2 options, something like: disinfect + restart try to disinfect without restartingWhat I feel the most while using Kaspersky is the feeling I’m not free to decide what I want to be exposed to or not. The software seems to decide for me and there is nothing I can’t do - not every time, but a lot of times.
  9. Hello @fsm1987, Welcome back! Does “ DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN” happen in every browser: Chrome, Edge Chromium, Firefox? Yes, after disabling one by one every module of Kaspersky and adding tons of exceptions whenever I could to thepiratebay.org, I’ve managed to access it. For some unknown reason, only in normal mode (not incognito mode). Happened to my mobile + laptop + my desktop after installing Kaspersky. Doesn’t happen to my computers running Norton (2 laptops + 1 desktop). I’ve tried it on a different city, with a different ISP as well. Same issues. Are there any thepiratebay.org events in KIS Reports → “yes” → provide the information requested by @Danila T. in his tutorial Read before you create a new topic! & the KIS Report please? No, but I had a hard time looking for that as well - apparently, there is no option that holds all logs nor an option to just search all logs for some specficic word (“pirate”, por instance). “no”; do the following: Shutdown the computer. Done Reboot the router. Done Power on computer, login. Done Power on router - recheck? Issue persists, continue with steps as follows: Done Reset browsers to default. Done Flush DNS Cache. Done Release and Renew IP Address. Done (actually, happens every day and its been happening since I’ve installed Kaspersky) Change DNS Servers. Done - also Restart DNS Client Service. I don’t know how to do it, but I can do it if you can guide me on that - but since it’s happening on my mobile after installing Kaspersky, maybe it’s not needed Check Local Hosts File. Same as above Reset Chrome Flags. Done Reset KIS to default. I’ve tried a clean format + install, same issue Disable VPN or Antivirus & retest? This is my main issue, perhaps. It would be really easy to identify whether disabling Kaspersky would fix this issue, but the only way I can disable Kaspersky is by disabling one by one all of its modules (14 modules, each one demanding 1 click to open, 1 click to disable, one click to save, 1 click to confirm… please teach me a way to disable all at the same time and I’ll be way happier with my new antivirus...) Thank you🙏 Flood🐳 +🐋
  10. I’m trying to access thepiratebay.org but Kaspersky blocking it. I get the following message: DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN. I’ve tried going to settings → Web Anti-virus → Advanced and adding both an exclusing and a the URL as trustworthy, but it didn’t change anything. I really like Kaspersky, but it’s far from user friendly, sadly. I’d prefer an antivirus to help me decide what I want to block, not to decide for me...
  11. I bought Kaspersky once again and I was loving it until I installed Password Manager’s Chrome extension, which turned my navigation experience into nightmare. I thought it was some hardware incompatibility, but I’ve installed it in 3 different computers, one of them is a gaming computer, and all got really slow. I’ve tried disabling all extensions and it is clearly Password Manager’s extension that is causing this issue. I have over 700 passwords stored in it and I can only reproduce this issue if the setting “Allow this extension to read and change all your data on websites you visit:” is set to On all sites. But it is only usefull for me if it’s set to such mode. Does anybody have this issue (tons of passwords + extension making Chrome really slow)?
