when does kaspersky scan for malware? [Closed]

My kaspersky scan options do not include a malware scan button only quick scan and full scan. Full scan takes about 20 hours to scan Quick scan is limited. No where in any reading can I find when Kasperky scans for Malware. does anyone know?
