Though I have installed the msi many times, and the “Current application versions” window shows all EN plug-ins as “Installed in Console”, I kept getting the message described in the subject of this post.

How can I get it to go away?

KES10, KES11, Light Agent 5. When I leave work, every device has an updated database. When I arrive in the morning, hundreds of device's databases are set back to 7/29. I have to run a database update taks everyday. This fixes the issue until I come back in the next day.

Are any additional ports needed to be open when managing local tasks on devices outside of the LAN? I've noticed that I can't start local tasks here against machines connection via my connection gateway: But if I run a task THIS way, the task runs. I don't want to have 100 copies of the same task to run agianst specific devices. Just want to be able to run local tasks in the Device Properties window, which would be much easier. Currently, 13000 and 14000 are open on the connection gateway.

After running the installer maybe 25 times, it eventually installed. This is not an answer to my initial question but the issue no longer persists.

After uninstalling the msi, and reinstalling it, I have the same error. I logged the msi installation. In the log, there is this line. The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2726. KSC10 version: 10.5.1781 I'm seeing that KSC has not downloaded the latest Apple suite of updates as it usually does. Other third-party apps are updating as expected. Updates for Apple applications have not come through since late March, while others have. The latest version I have under KSC10 > Administration Server > Advanced > Software Updates is 12.2.0.15, though if I look in my Applications Registry under Advanced, I see that a few devices have had IT manually install 12.2.1.12. Can I force KSC to find these updates? I have run the "find and fix vulnerabilities" task against machines and it does not detect that I need the latest version of Apple stuff under Device Properties > System Info > Available Updates. If I can't force it, how can I best troubleshoot this?

I have many (over one hundred) remote devices whose licenses have expired because remote workers have not connected to the administration server in time to get new license key added. How can I most easily get these devices licensed? I do NOT want to reinstall KES(11/10) on over one hundred devices.

I have uninstalled the package using "Msisexec.exe /x packagename.msi". This succeeds without error. I install the package again. Same error as the one mentioned in the first post of this thread.

When trying to add a key to a KES SP1 (10.1.0.5960) for Linux device, I am caught in a loop where KSC10 is asking me continuously to install the application plug-in. GIF attached. If I manually uninstall the plugin using msixec and try again, i get the same result.
