[Disconnect the inaccessible device before transferring the license to the new device]

Hi everybody!
I bought a Kaspersky Plus license 25 days ago and have fully installed on 5 devices. One of them, my iPad Mini 4, had a damaged motherboard and could not be accessed anymore.

I read the instructions "How to transfer a Kaspersky application license from one device to another". In the second step, it's guided that:

       2. Remove the application from your old device. See the Online Help page for instructions. If the device doesn’t work, move on to the next step.

Can someone tell me: "Do I have to disconnect the iPad mini 4 device in My Kaspersky before downloading apps from My Kaspersky and installing on the new iPad?".
