  1. Edit: Hi again, I have found the fix for the issue. I started a new discussion/thread on how to fix this issue, but it has been moved here instead by admins For anyone viewing this thread and having the same issue, the fix is has just been moved under the spoiler. I have tried multiple possibilities of fixes but none seem to work, when I reinstalled the program again and it miraculously fixed, I just now found out that it’s because I had 2 different KIS installers. (Kaspersky Internet Security) Kaspersky Internet Security 21.3.10.391 (kis21.3.10.391en_26096.exe) Kaspersky Internet Security 21.2.16.590 (kis21.2.16.590en_26096.exe) The issue is that the installers downloads and uses different versions of the Kaspersky VPN. KIS Version 21.3.10.391 (21.3) uses Kaspersky VPN 5.3 (Broken VPN) KIS Version 21.2.16.590 (21.2) uses Kaspersky VPN 5.2 (Working VPN) I have tested both versions of KIS with Pro and Home edition of Windows 10 (Fresh install and latest version of Windows), and conclude that Kaspersky VPN 5.3 doesn’t work at all but version 5.2 works and runs fine, the speed is fast and connection can last long (I haven’t been disconnected since) I don’t know exactly why VPN v5.3 isn’t able to connect even though I have tried multiple solutions but 5.2 works just fine, Please Kaspersky team find a way to fix this bug in the next update. So if anyone else is having VPN issues, like their VPNS won’t even connect at all and doesn’t work, I recommend downgrading to KIS version 21.2.16.590 until Kaspersky is fixes this issue Thank you Kaspersky team and I hope for this issue to be fixed in the future :)
  2. I have made a post about this issue recently where the VPN wouldn’t stay connected longer than 5 seconds rendering it broken and unusable - Original Post: Link I have tried multiple possibilities of fixes but none seem to work, when I reinstalled the program again and it miraculously fixed, I just now found out that it’s because I had 2 different KIS installers. 3. Hey it works now, and I didn’t do anything besides uninstalled the program after I made this post, then waited almost a full day and decided to re-install it again to try it and it now connects To anyone who had the same issue as mine, I am sorry as I don’t have a direct fix for it, all I did was uninstall + wait almost a full day + then reinstalled again to test it out and suddenly it was fixed Its either The traffic usage was bad at the time I was trying to connect so then I wasn’t able to connect at all Or Kaspersky team found a bug in their system and fixed itAnyways, thank you Kaspersky team for this great VPN, don’t know why it wasn’t working when I bought it, but now it works as intended Thank you
  4. Yes I have already created one and just waiting for a response
  5. Nope. It still doesn’t work, disabled every services besides Kaspersky and VPN and even added Kdse.exe to my FireWall and I still can’t connect longer than 5 seconds, like I said I even tried it with a fresh install of Windows 10 and nothing works But the VPN works perfectly fine on my Android phone, I am using an Ethernet Cable for my Internet PC, maybe this VPN doesn’t support Ethernet? Is there any more possible solutions that you have?
  6. Just bought this app today (Internet Sec + VPN), knowing that the Kaspersky anti-virus itself has a good reputation and possibly the best out there, so I figured why not buy and try out the VPN as well, turns out this garbage VPN doesn’t even work at all, cant stay connected no longer than 5 seconds. You click the connect button, then it connects for 3-5 seconds and then disconnects and then it tries to reconnect and the process repeats endlessly. Every other previous VPNS that I’ve used (All of them were free trials) worked flawlessly without any issues. Tried mostly every logical fix, reset my dns settings w/ command prompt, messed with Services.msc and Firewall settings, etc and even downloaded a fresh install of windows to make sure nothing is causing this issue Excuse my irritation and my utmost disgust for this program, but when you’re looking to buy your first ever VPN subscription like me and finds a highly reputable company, then buy an activation code from a third party website knowing you aren’t going to get a refund, just to find out the app is just a brick and doesn’t do well anything as intended, its like a large piece of poop lodged down your throat So is anyone, even the developers/employees even going to help and solve this issue? Because I’ve been searching around this forum and I know I’m not the only one with this issue but nobody has ever posted a functioning fix for it. Link
