Hi all,
I’m having an Issue With Kaspersky Security Center 13.1 every time I try to initiate an RDP session or a Windows Desktop Sharing session I get presented with Error 0x4E5. It used to work before, now it only works if I enabled the “Don’t disconnect form the administrative server” option.

Kaspersky Security Center 13.1
Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11.6
Network Agent 13 & 12
Any Idea what might be causing it?

Any detection messages?
Is Kaspersky completely blocking the connection?
Open Kaspersky locally, click on reports and see if the blocking message appears.On KES and KEC no error message what so ever and when opening AnyDesk it just says “Connecting to AnyDesk network” in yellow and then Says ”Disconnected from AnyDesk netwrok” in red and then the software tries again. When quitting Kaspersky on the machine AnyDesk works just fine.

Thanks but there’s a reason why I came here.
Our account manager is -with all do respect- useless. We opened 7 tickets in the past year and a half, not a single ticket has been resolved by him. I solved 4 of them on my own and the other 3 have never been resolved (one of which was marked by him as resolved even though he didn’t provide us with any solution and we’re still trying to figure out the issue on our own)

Can you connect using another tool or via Windows MSTC?
Yes, I’ve been using it for almost 6 months without any problems. TeamViewer works fine and Windows MSTC works without any issues.

Hi all,
I’ve Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11.6 running multiple windows machines and lately I can’t connect to another machine via AnyDesk when Kasperksy is on. It used to work before but not anymore. I’ve not changed anything in the policy. When I turn KES 11.6 off AnyDesk can initiate a connection no problem.Just to be clear AnyDesk runs on the system but it can’t connect to the AnyDesk network when Kaspersky is on.
Any Idea how to fix it or add an exception?

I’ve a network agent set as a gateway in DMZ and everything seems to be working fine since last week any mac with new installation of the Network Agent won’t connect to the admin server through the gateway, old mac devices that have already connected before don’t have this issue.
I checked the connection to the gateway, the firewall between gateway and the admin server and it’s working fine, the policy for the network agent is inherited from the main group and has not been changed recently.

I’m having a problem recently with connecting to the administrations server through the Gateway.
I’ve a network agent set as a gateway in DMZ and everything seems to be working fine. Until last week when I installed KES 11.2 for mac and started rolling out network agent 13 (I’m running KEC 13). When installing the network agent on mac and using the address for gateway the installer checks the connection to and seems to work and install but after the installation is complete the device doesn’t seem to connect to the server or sync with it. Even when installing network agent 12 and 11 the issue persists. Old machines that had the agent installed before last week can still connect to the admin server using the gateway.I’ve not changed gateway nor I’ve changed any firewall rules.
Any solution? or tip on how to proceed or troubleshoot this issue?

Is there a way or script that allow us to add Kaspersky system extension and the necessary permissions to macOS so when we run the remote installation KES will work out of the Box.I saw the page about using configuration profiles but sadly it only works when deploying it via MDM which we currently don’t have.

We do have similar problem. KES for Mac has been nothing but a nightmare for us. We had to stop doing full scan unless a malware or a virus has been detected. And honestly even without any scan and the security policy set to minimum and tweaked to give maximum performance, Kasperksy still render Macs unusable.
And honestly Kaspersky support has been nothing but useless, the asked us for tones of logs and no solution in sight. -
Dear all,
I’ve a Lenovo T490s device with KES 11.5 installed (with encryption component), Bitlocker is disabled but whenever I move the device to a sub-group (in KEC 12) where the encryption policy (Encrypt using Kaspersky and not Bitlocker) will take effect it shows the error “Data encryption has switched to the status specified in the device status detection criteria” and “The encryption status on this device is other than the encryption status set in the administration group properties.”
Any Idea what might be causing it? -
Hi all,
There are many machines running Kaspersky endpoint 11.0.1 for Mac, where the update option is grayed out/inactive on the machine, even though on other machines it is active and in the policy in in Kaspersky security center 12 it is activated.

Hi all,
Kaspersky endpoint security 11.0.1 for Mac is making most of the machines unusable (it’s very slow it takes 10 minutes to lunch and app) even thought the all the machines meet both the hardware and software requirements, this usually happens when running a scan even if it’s a quick one.
Through Kaspersky security ceneter 12 I configured the machines to do a quick scan and activated the Iswift and ichecker but the machines are still unusable.
Any suggestion/ solution is much appreciated. -

There are many machines running Kaspersky endpoint 11.0.1 for Mac that can’t access most https website even website like github are not accessible (both on Firefox and Chrome).
What might be causing this issue, is there anything I need to change in the policy in Kaspersky security center 12 ?

you want to exclude the drives from real-time protection as well?

Is there a way to disable external hard-drive scan on Kaspersky endpoint 11.4 for windows on certain devices. I want to be able to connect large external hard-drives to 7 machines without Kaspersky scanning those hard-drives.
What should I change in the policy in the Kaspersky security center 12 ?

Kaspersky endpoint 11.4 for windows is blocking zoom access to the microphone and camera. when i check the log on the host intrusion prevention it says that most of zoom component are placed in the trusted group. but it also showed blocked access to microphone and blocked access to camera.
I checked the policy in the Kaspersky security center 12, everything seems normal.
Any suggestion/ solution is much appreciated. -
Dear all,
One one of my server running Kaspersky Security 10.1.2 for Windows server and administrated by Kaspersky security center 12. is conflicting with Firefox. I can’t run Firefox at all, it just crashes (It’s important for me that this server runs Firefox) it’s one of many servers having this issue.

Dear all,
I’m facing this error ”Operating system version is not supported” every time I try to install Network Agent for Mac 12.0.0.35 remotely via Kaspersky Security Center 12 on any Apple devices whether it’s an IMac, a Macbook pro or Macbook air.
Most of the devices are running either OSX Mojave or Catalina (10.15.2 or higher).
Any Idea what might be causing this error? Thanks in advance. -

Hi,
I’ve an Issue with one of the servers that are running Kaspersky security for windows server, It keeps showing an error connecting to the distribution point even thought It’s within the organization network.
I setup an Gateway for devices who are connected to an external network ) to be able to connect and get any policy update from the Kaspersky security center 12. (Servers are in a different group and they’re setup to use the Kaspersky security center server directly)
Everything is working fine except for that one server that’s showing this error.
Any help resolving this issue would be much appreciated.

I did open a ticket and after 2 months of back and forth, the account manger closed the ticket without providing any solution and when we asked him to reopen the ticket we didn’t receive any response and honestly opening a new ticket won’t get us anywhere. We had many tickets opened in the past and they were mostly closed with no solution provided. We had to figure most of it on our own. And on many occasions we asked him to escalate the ticket to second or third level support and he just ignored it.
Trust me I wouldn’t ask on a community form if the support that we paid for actually provided us with support.
