Thank you andrew75 but I have already blocked all options in KES. The problem is the agent… if there is any policy change… I can no longer propagate that policy to the user… because the agent is uninstalled. Also… if you uninstall the agent… you don’t have any reports on the user. I have checked and KES maintains password protection even after uninstallation of the agent… but… the point of the agent is to sync with the cloud… without this you have a local KES with a password protection… you have no use for the cloud interface any more.

I will post here updates if I get answers.

This question is asked by 2 more users… no official response from kaspersky… This is not OK. We need to know the recovery key for the drives encrypted or if it is mandatory to manually save the key. What’s the point of saying that the recovery key is saved in the portal if you cannot see the key in the portal?!?!

Hi. First question here. We are using Security Cloud Plus. Is there a way to password protect the uninstallation of network agent for cloud managed Kaspersky? In the local server version we had this option. Without this anyone can uninstall the agent and can do whatever they want with the local KES (you don’t need to uninstall if you can disable). I have looked for command line options in the network agent installation folder… but… nothing found. Please help! Thanks.
