suppose today i purchase a license, as i can understand u are saying i will have 3 year window to ACTIVATE the license and there after i will be using the product for the SUBSCRIPTION PERIOD.

or, it simply, key can be activated at the fag end of 3rd year and there after enjoy subscription...
