[Handhold Scanner detect as a unknown keyboard]

Hello Everybody,

In a market place handhold scanner for bar-code scanning  are used where in PCs have Kaspersky Endpoint 11.  from few days back, while connecting Barcode scanner in a PC, then there showing virtual keypad to ensure the key press!

If the KES uninstalled and then connect the Barcode scanner and again the KES 11 installed then the scanner is working.

How to make all these scanner work well from KSC11?

[Keyboard block on Windows Server 2003 after KES installed and restart]

Hello Everybody, Among 3 Windows Server 2003 KES 11 is working fine but on one 2003 Server after restart, Keyboard is not working even changing some more keyboard. As it is Windows 2003, in log in page there is no On Screen Keyboard also! How can this situation be solved and is there anything need to be done in KES for Keyboard allow? Above link below side there is solutions for that, klscflag.exe tool and the command line: klscflag.exe -fset -pv klserver -s Updater -n DisableKLHttps -t d -v 1 Use Http instead of Https !! Hi, thanks for pointing to a workaround. i'm just wondering why it was no issue in ksc 10? Did it include an invisible fallback to http? btw this command creates the following registry entry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\KasperskyLab\Components\34\1093\1.0.0.0\Updater DisableKLHttps Value: 1 i guess deleting it and restarting the service will undo the changes.

Hi, All of these versions are compatible with KSC11.0.01131, Network agent 11.0.01131 and could work with KSC 10.5.1781.0a.

Does all those KES versions and Network agent 11.0.01131 properly work with KSC 10.5.1781.0a? Because the KSC 10.5.1781.0a installation has network agent 10 initially! Thanks

Hello everybody, Few days back suddenly i was unable o find out KES for Windows XP on Kaspersky Support web page! Exactly which version is for Windows XP? There is a Kaspersky web page which show some article for Windows XP - Compatibility of Kaspersky Lab products with Windows XP SP3 Does the latest KSC 11.0.0.1131 and the latest Network Agent are able to work with Kaspersky Endpoint for XP package? Hello Dmitry Parshutin The KSC 11.0.0.1131 was installed and the KES 11.1.1.126 and the Network agent is also latest 11. The problem is KSC database repository task is unable to download Update from Kaspersky Lab and the Screenshot is posted above reply before. As several times and several days it failed, had to use Update Utility tool and tag the update source to it for all KES and it's working. But the main thing that still the Kaspersky Update repository task unable to update KSC repository! As KSC 11.0.0.1131 is installed then where can i find the patch to fix this problem? please Thanks in Advance Deadlock4400

Hello Everybody, After KSC 11 installation, when going to update the KSC database repository, it's showing "Failed to establish the HTTPS connection: TLS error (54)" There was a similar problem was written in another post - KSC 11: can not update Antivirus DB with Traffic Security on There a solution given by Oleg Bykov - "Please add klserver.exe and Up2Date.exe to the Traffic Security exclusions." Dear Nikolay arinchev Happy to see your reply. In the way of Up-gradation from KSC 10.4.343 to KSC 11.0.0.1131 , if the older KSC will be uninstalled and then Latest KSC installed and connect to the older database (MS SQL), in this scenario if i import the older database to newest KSC, will everything work properly? Or i have to convert the policies and task for latest KSC? Another thing, if i use latest package of Endpoint 11 and KSWS on KSC 10.4.343 will that work properly? Thanks in Advance Deadlock4400

Dear Nikolay arinchev Sorry for my delay response. Few KSC has cluster servers and salve server also used. As far as I know, via slave server client PCsbcan have virus definitions update and also have policies and tasks update from main KSC. So now we have have update agents which we can call Distribution Points. Does the Distribution Points do Policy and task update too?
