After installing an dating on a new system, as I carried out the first scan, Kaspersky detected an exe file which it says is infected and prompted me to disinfect (or delete, cant remember which) and also prompted if it should do same to ALL FILES OF TYPE. It didnt occur to me it was an exe file and i selected YES. Now its deleting all my exe files, including popular names and oem driver packs, rightly or wrongly, i cant tell. Is this normal? Are all these exe’s infected? If not, how do i stop it or reverse this?
