Haven’t seen it since i posted,maybe it’s gone away.Post closed i guess.

I keep getting a pop up,it happens randomly.

It says.

Kaspersky statement regarding data processing.

It’s quite long & at the bottom are 2 boxes.I is DECLINE. the other ACCEPT. I click accept but it just keeps popping up.Anyone else getting this.

[malwarebytes free incompatible with KIS?]

I use the premium version of Malwarebytes,it was offered free by my bank as additional security,been using it for about 2 years. I’ve suddenly started getting the pop up from Kaspersky telling me that is incompatible & could cause security  & other issues if i do not remove it.

What is going on with this incompatibility thing & Kaspersky.

[KIS makes decisions its not supposed to, Automatic version upgrade.]

• The same thing happened to me a few weeks ago.I had also indicated that i did not want auto updates.My question pointed me to this post.

I’m not really tech savvy to be messing about in the registry so for the moment i’ll have to live with it.

I was running KIS 2020 & as usual for me,i had unchecked,update automatically,i used to let a new version run for a while before updating.A few weeks ago i found that version 2021 had installed automatically.

I’ve looked through settings & i can not find the setting that will disable the auto update.Anyone know where it is or has it been removed as an option.

Thanks for the link.It does seem to be for connecting remotely.It must be a default setting because i didn’t connect it.I’ve never used it & probably never will but i’ll leave it connected.

I was looking for something in the settings for K.I.S. & i came across this.”Computer is connected to My Kaspersky portal”.There is also a clickable box for disconnecting from the portal.(1) what is it ,appears to be remote access.(2) do i need it & what will happen if i disconnect it.

FLOOD Thanks,it was the reports,i clicked clear as you suggested & it deleted everything in there.I've reset it to,Store for a week. I haven't touched the Quarantine one.
