KASPERSKY PREMIUM IS AVAILABLE IN UK. Customer Support replaced the activation code in my.kaspersky with one for the correct UK version. They said that the one obtained from the UK store was "Others" region. Who is responsible for that faut pas I wonder. Nexway? Anyway, Premium downloaded and installed perfectly this time. Looks really good. Lots of new security features. Told me 2 of my email accounts were associated with websites that had been breached, Tiscali (TalkTalk) and Malwarebytes. Issue now closed.

I just did an Export Settings and by default the NAME.cfg file is saved to C://users/username/documents. Had a look on the old HDD for cfg files under /username and there were none related to KIS unfortunately. Stuffed. I'd like to close this now but couldn't see how.

OK thanks. Worth a try. I think I'll just add sites as and when I use them. Might try Support when I get the chance.

About a week ago I bought Kaspersky Total Security from the UK store. Went to My.Kaspersky and it told me that it was not for use in UK and there was no download link. 2 days later I discovered that KTS was no longer for sale and was offered 3 products, Standard, Plus and Premium. I got Customer Support to cancel the unusable KTS and refund what I had paid so that I could buy Kaspersky Premium. They sent me a link to where I could buy it with a special offer. This took me to a site where the price was quoted in euros. Instead I logged into the UK site and bought Premium from there. It explicitly stated that it was "ONLY FOR ACTIVATION IN THE UK, IRELAND AND FALKLAND ISLANDS". When I look in My.Kaspersky it tells me that this too is "NOT SUPPORTED IN YOUR REGION". The additional info says "THIS PRODUCT HAS NOT YET BEEN LAUNCHED IN YOUR REGION". What on earth is going on? Two separate products purchased from the UK site that say "UK only", took my money and then tell me I can't have them. We only seem to have been getting these problems since Nexway replaced Digital River as the provider. If they are not available, DON'T ADVERTISE THEM.

I have been using KIS on a very old Windows 7 PC for many years and built up a long list (maybe 60) of sites to protect in Safe Money. That machine is totally dead now and I have a new one with Windows 10 and 1TB SSD storage. I installed KIS onto it and connected the old HDD as simply additional storage. I can see the entire file structure of KIS on the old HDD and am hoping that the list of protected websites is held in a file that I can somehow incorporate into the new installation on the SSD. Any ideas please?
