After I posted the question, I saw in the sidebar that there are a topics that match with mine. But maybe this additional post can help to get this feature implemented.

I think that it would be cool if you could exclude specific subfolders and subfiles from the backup. I’m a coder and inside the project folders are a few big folders or unessential files I’d like to exclude.
A few examples:

• (Node.JS) a big folder full of programm libaries/modules, this folder is always named “node_modules”
• output folders with compiled code to install or run on a device (this folders and files can easily be regenerated by the code editor)

 

My programm version is Kaspersky Total Security 21.3.10.391 (b).

 

As you can see in the screenshot below, I could only choose one sub forum. I hope I’m right here.
