[Updated databases are not saved on a bootable flash drive]

I boot from Kaspersky Rescue Disk, successfully update the anti-virus databases, shut down, boot from the same flash drive on another computer, and find the date of the databases is not up-to-date, but dates from the time the image was downloaded. That is, the databases on the flash drive are not updated? Why?

There are many situations when updating anti-virus databases is impossible or undesirable on the scanned computer: lack of access to the Internet on the computer being checked, lack of access to broadband Internet on the computer, lack of a network card driver on the bootable flash drive, and many other reasons.

Когда-то я скачал с https://www.kaspersky.com/downloads/thank-you/free-rescue-disk образ Kaspersky Rescue Disk, записал на флешку и иногда использовал. Естественно, каждый раз при загрузке с нее для проверки антивирусные базы обновлялись. Сейчас на https://support.kaspersky.com/14226 я вижу текст

Я не понимаю, версия ли это грубо говоря инструментов (ОС, механизмов поиска угроз, т. е. собственно антивируса, других инструментов, доступных после загрузки), или только баз? Дата и время образа krd.iso ни о чем не говорят (сейчас это ‎2 ‎декабря ‎2021 ‎г., ‏‎12:12:26). Нужно ли мне перезаписывать образ, или достаточно загрузиться с него и обновить базы? Как вообще понять, Kaspersky Rescue Disk 18 ли у меня, или более ранний? Обновляет ли механизм самообновления только базы сигнатур, или само приложение проверки — тоже?
