Dear all. i want to configure ksc as wsus server. i would be thankfull if one of you answer my questions Please if possible answer questions listed below 1.Do i have to do some changes in Domain Controller for windows update(I want to use KSC as WSUS). I want to force all computers in company to fetch update from KSC not internet 2.HOw often i must start "Find vulnerabilities and required updates " task So, please correct me if i am wrong. 1.At first we have to run "Perform Windows Update" synchronization task. This will install new update from Microsoft's server. 2. Then in order to identify which computer needs update, we must run "Find vulnerabilities and required updates " task 3. In order to install new updates to client computers, we must run "Install required updates and fix vulnerabilities"

please you first answer my first question that I posted 2 month ago then you can answer this one. I don't understand how Kaspersky support engineer work. Kaspersky official and community are really awful. please take this message into consideration. as I observe you always ask for policy configuration then no answer )))

I found when this problem occurs. If I don't change anything in removable drive part in device control(let it to be Default “Depends on Bus”) it works as expected. but when I edit removable drive part in device control by deleting Everyone and add single user by checking write and read permission, warnin message pops up. hope I could make it clear to you.

both of the case gives same result. we have some users use removable drive and we added that drives to trusted list. every time they install usb drive to computer they see that warning message. I am given full access for all removable drive, and I also see that warning message each time I install flash drive to computer. what do you think where I have to look at to troubleshoot it?

Dear Raviparker Actually my user account has been given full access for all removable drive. So when I insert flash drive I can read and read without any problem. but don't understand why message pops up warning me I have no read write access. If the policy is not applied successfully I would not be able to read and write from flash drive

This is the second time i write but so far no result unfortunatelly. although I have added USB device ID to trusted, when user install usb drive into computer the blocking message pops up as if it is blocked by device control. But there is any reading and writing issue because I have added device to trusted device list. I want to understand that why the message being appeared even it has been added to trusted device list. MOre over Kaspersky wont let device to be encrypted by bitlocker. when I deleted Kaspersky from computer, removable drive encrypted successfully. but when KES enabled ACCESS denied message appears when I try to encrypt removable drive

Hello. Do you think it would be safe to turn off scanning encrypted connection? Is there any way we can add https://x.x.x.x as exclusion?

Dear all. after upgrading KES from 11.0.1.90 to 11.2, Kaspersky doesn't let us to enter firewall’s web interface. we enter the web interface by typing https://x.x.x.x (x.x.x.x-ip address). please see screenshot below

hi. why KSC 11 vulnerability scanner finds windows vulnerabilities? I have unchecked “Use data from Windows Server Update Services” and disabled Windows UPdate search mode. when I start vulnerability scanning, it founds windows vulnerabilities

Hi. is it possible to give an access to USB device as READ only with its ID. When we give an READ only permission, all usb types are allowed. So there is security concern . we want give permission to only single USB to be read not all of them

Hello. I have a group named LAPTOPS and I have blocked all removable drives for all of users. But one of user need to access all types of flash drives. is there any way to exclude that user from being blocked by LAPTOPS without leaving the group?

dear members. I want to configure device control in KSC 11 and want to be sure about several things. what is the difference between Allow and Depends on connection bus. What is the best practice for Connection Bus. do I have to turn off all of them? All computers uses internal hard drive for OS. do I need to Allow instead of Depends on connection bus? If I can control Removable drive or smard card etc. from “Types of Devices” when would I need USB connection bus? I would be happy if you answer all of the questions. thanks in advance

Hi Yes it is enabled but except Active Directory. Domains and IP ranges are enabled

Dear all i use kaspersky security center(unfortunately. I will change this antivirus to other product due to lack of their technical support)anyway. is there any one who knows that why kaspersky security center wont show a users who currently handle the device. for instance when i enter the properties of xxx computer and look at System Info->Sessions, nothink shown there.
