  1. I did some digging and found this: https://support.kaspersky.com/KESWin/11.8.0/en-US/193496.htm It seems if it's deemed "trusted" via KSN, it will alter the user defined firewall rules, regardless.
  2. It's hard for me to get the logs required. I've uninstalled Kaspersky for now. Trying out other vendors AV.
  3. INC000015034037 Not yet, I still need to send logs. I asked questions on whether Kaspersky changes firewall logs by itself, how to prevent it, but they didn't seem to want to answer the question.
  4. They couldn't answer any of my questions ? I'll keep searching.
  5. When the firewall rules were altered, the reason was "KSN Info...." When it's removed, I don't see it, it's just gone. I disabled "Load rules for application from Kaspersky Security Network (KSN)" but it's still affecting the user defined firewall rules. I don't know what else to do.
  6. Not solved, KSN shows is disabled but firewall rules are still being altered by KSN. This is frustrating.
  7. I ended up installing Kaspersky Standard and KSN seems to be staying off so far.
  8. That's what I did, install clean, select no to KSN, but there it is enabled. Is there a way to prevent KSN from overriding the firewall rules?
  9. This seems difficult to fix. Maybe there's an alternative. Is it possible to prevent KSN from overriding user defined firewall rules? e.g. I block an exe, then later KSN unblocks the exe. It's very frustrating. I can't trust it anymore.
  10. Yes it shows disabled/disconnected immediately after toggling. No change after the restore procedure.
  11. The status should be a "stop" sign, but after disabling, it still has the "green tick". "Application Control" is disabled successfully. It looks correct unlike KSN.
  12. That is correct. Even if I decline, it re-enables itself after restart of the PC or application.
  13. Nothing at all. When I go back to the options: I get a screen saying KSN agreement has changed. I view the agreement and decline it, so to not enable KSN. This does not seem to help.
