  1. Hello, speaking from personal experience (I am from Hungary and done the same thing), yes, license key from the UK website works for EU. Just put your normal billing info and set country as Ireland, GB or Falkland Islands doesn’t matter.
  2. Many times safe money just interrupts the payment process and because of that the payment fails on almost every website if I use debit/credit cards. Usually happens after additional verification required by some card vendors (like Mastercard Securecode). Of course, having additional security while paying is always good, but Kaspersky should really fix Safe money as in it’s current state it’s useless, at least in my experience.
  3. As I said, different salaries and taxes affect the pricing. If every country in the EU had the same salary, then I would understand and it would be logical that every service has the same prices for EU. Spotify, Netflix, Deezer and others all have different pricing for each country in the world and EU. Besides UK is not in the EU anymore so that law does not (or very soon will not) apply...
  4. @libove You can try to do that, but pricing of many other services also varies in different countries. There are quite a few reasons for that, some being country population (Spain is less populated than the UK so you already have one reason why it is more expensive), country development, different online fees, taxes etc. Therefore the name regional pricing.
  5. KIS 2021 is available as of today in the UK, https://support.kaspersky.co.uk/kis21 I personally don’t really care when the new version will come, and I think that other private customers also shouldn’t pay that much attention to when will the new version come. Kaspersky surely has a reason for not releasing new version everywhere at the same tame. The license key you buy is valid for the next version as well, and the update will come when ready. You are still protected, databases update every day. What is the problem then?
  6. I had the same issue. I use KTS but these settings are the same. It got resolved after disabling Perform Idle Scan (and Search for software that is intended to conceal traces of a malicious program in the system).
  7. Hello @kagi3624, When Kaspersky Anti-Virus (KAV ) is installed, Kaspersky Secure Connection is also installed → to address the issue, if the system tray popups are from Kaspersky Secure Connection:Uninstall Kaspersky Secure Connection, follow all steps. If the system tray popups are not from Kaspersky Secure Connection please post an image? If the issue is not resolved by the above procedure, please post back - include a GSI & Windows LogsThank you🙏 Flood🐳 The worst thing is that it installs by itself, whatever you click during setup wizard...
  8. @Berny I don’t think OP asked for downloading, he asked for purchasing a license. Wrong link perhaps? The license available on the global website, just choose your country at checkout: https://www.kaspersky.com/total-security
  9. I am going to be open, Winfows Defender is absolute trash. Never detects anything while browsing suspicious sites (pirated movie sites etc.) while Kaspersky always does, it has real-time protection? Only things that WD detects in my experience are false positives. Kaspersky is the way to go!
  10. I bought a license on Kaspersky UK on May 15th, and I first applied it to my device even though it does not expire until 23 more days. Then, when I saw OPs having issue with applying a license too early, I removed it from my account. My question is, till when will that license be valid for activation, can I enter it after my current license expires?
  11. Good, thanks for letting us know @harlan4096
  12. Kaspersky is dependent on Hotspot Shield VPN, and Hotspot Shield does support this feature. So, it would not be difficult to implement the feature into KSC. In my opinion, they didn’t do it because of the pricing. Hotspot Shield is much more expensive than KSC (95.88 USD/1y compared to 29.99 USD/1 year), thus Kaspersky cut off some features, like this one and they shrank the number of countries to connect compared to Hotspot.. I don’t know, this is my guess, but I’m really curious what will Tech Support say?
  13. Additionally, if you have an older PC, that might also be the reason why it's slow as Kaspersky is known for being one of the lighter AVs out there, utilizing only what is really needed. But check out the Kaspersky Internet Security 20 System Requirements, just to be safe.
  14. This is for the Youtube concern: if you haven’t tried it already, try to access Youtube in incognito tab without logging in.
