Desktop shortcut stops working with every update in Kaspersky Free Posted November 12, 2023 Hi, I have Kaspersky Free Windows 10 version 22H2 Application Version 21.15.8.493 Every time you roll out a new update a new folder is created. This this means my desktop shortcut no longer points to the folder and therefore doesn't work. This doesn't happen with other application updates so there must be a way to avoid this. For example my old version was "C:\Program Files (x86)\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky 21.14\avpui.exe" The new version is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky 21.15\avpui.exe" If there is another way to create a desktop Icon that will not be effected by upates please show me. For example my old version was
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky 21.14\avpui.exe"
The new version is
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky 21.15\avpui.exe"
If there is another way to create a desktop Icon that will not be effected by upates please show me.
