i had the Web anti-Virus setting :
Action on threat detection : "Notify"
and then my Firefox download a .js file according to the KIS reports.
Event: Download allowed
User: me
User type: Active user
Application name: firefox.exe
Application path: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
Component: Web Anti-Virus
Result description: Allowed
Type: Probability of unauthorized software download
Name: https://appcdn01 . xyz/vast . js
Threat level: Medium
Object type: Web page
Object name: vast.js
Object path: https://appcdn01 . xyz
Reason: Cloud ProtectionThen i changed the setting to:
Action on threat detection : "Perform action automatically"
Then visit same web site (or ad website) this time KIS blocked the download:
Event: Download denied
User: me
User type: Active user
Application name: firefox.exe
Application path: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
Component: Web Anti-Virus
Result description: Blocked
Type: Probability of unauthorized software download
Name: https://appcdn01 . xyz/vast . js
Threat level: High
Object type: Web page
Object name: vast.js
Object path:https://appcdn01 . xyzI ran a full scan on highest sensitivity. Nothing found.
it was vast.js file. Is it possible that this java script file is now executed and running hidden on my system?
